I called to schedule holiday vaccinations for my September trip, only to be informed they couldn't book me an appointment until September itself. With just one nurse working a mere three days weekly, their availability is incredibly limited. Their unhelpful suggestion was for me to search online and find a private clinic in Leeds. As a result, I've decided to leave this medical practice entirely.

It was puzzling how all available times could vanish so quickly when there seemed to be no patients around. Eventually managed to secure a telephone consultation with the pleasant Dr. Wilson at 10:20 am.

The Reception Staff went above and beyond by guiding me to a nearby Community Health Centre I was previously unaware of, since all slots at the original Surgery were completely full. They successfully arranged an in-person consultation with a Doctor at the alternative location. Much appreciated.

I attempted to contact the medical practice and, after considerable difficulty, finally reached someone who abruptly terminated the call while I was mid-conversation. The behavior was extremely discourteous, leaving me deeply worried about the treatment of other patients. Receptionists serve as the initial point of contact for a healthcare facility, and these staff members are clearly falling short in providing a professional and compassionate first impression.

Reliable local practice with friendly staff and modern feel
I've been going to this practice since childhood. It's fine that they switched to phone consultations due to COVID. You might wait around 10 minutes on the line, though sometimes it can be longer. I suggest calling at 8am. The receptionists are decent - some are friendly while others can come across as slightly abrupt, but they ultimately do what needs to be done. The waiting room is well-proportioned, not massive but comfortably sized and recently updated. The doctors are wonderful.

For four consecutive mornings, I've been dialing precisely at 7:50 am, only to encounter a perpetually busy signal, with no semblance of a proper call queue. By the time I manage to reach a representative around 8:45, every single appointment slot has vanished. I am utterly bewildered by how medical care can be distributed so haphazardly and randomly. The entire process is fundamentally unacceptable and represents a total breakdown of reasonable patient access.

Once a top-tier medical practice in Brighouse, they've now fully committed to the "no doctor appointments" approach, hoping patients will miraculously recover through endless video consultations with nurses, physiotherapists, and even a virtual surgery cat - anyone but an actual physician. They might as well shut down completely. Securing an in-person appointment now requires waiting over a month, with no assurance of receiving the specific medical service you've explicitly requested. Why not just close the doors and stop masquerading as a public service funded by my tax contributions? Let someone competent take over who genuinely wants to provide healthcare. Expect my transfer paperwork in the mail soon, and I hope other patients follow suit to deprive these doctors of the funding they seem so desperate to maintain. Their threat of industrial action is laughable, considering they're already not providing any meaningful service - perhaps this might finally trigger some much-needed reflection on their abysmal patient care.

Utterly appalling conduct from a specific physician. I reached out to obtain her prescribed medications following the hospital's discharge notification. Typically, this process is straightforward, but on this occasion, something was amiss. The doctor dismissed my request and casually suggested calling back the next day, claiming a single day's absence wouldn't cause harm. I was absolutely stunned. Her medication regimen includes critical angina tablets for potential cardiac episodes, respiratory inhalers, and nebulizer treatments. The absence of any of these essential medications could potentially be fatal.

If I could award no rating, I absolutely would. The only competent medical professionals here have either left the practice or are perpetually overbooked - which makes total sense given they're the rare quality providers. The newer physicians are completely incompetent, utterly worthless, and the front desk staff are equally indifferent. They show zero concern for patients. Case in point: I had a phone consultation in April with Dr. Crossland, who requested some images and promptly called me back within minutes of my submission. Fast forward to a similar appointment in July with another doctor, and I've been waiting nearly an hour, still on hold. I don't have the luxury of wasting my entire day waiting by the telephone.
