Frustrating healthcare with long wait and limited access

What's the problem? Trying to book at opening hours results in no available appointments. The receptionist seemed uncomfortable and understanding, and the physicians are competent when you eventually get to see them. HOWEVER, repeatedly being stuck on hold early in the morning with no appointment slot is obviously an organizational problem that requires addressing. People can't control when they fall sick, and there's no certainty of getting medical attention the following day. It shouldn't feel like a random gamble just to consult with a general practitioner...

Hey, the medical staff here are fantastic, but the front desk personnel are a real letdown. While the doctors are consistently excellent every time I visit, the receptionist seems to enjoy criticizing patients and acting like they know more than the actual physicians. Fantastic medical care from caring local doctors

This medical practice has been my go-to healthcare provider since I was born, and I genuinely cannot envision switching to another. I've witnessed numerous physicians retire and be replaced, yet these transitions have ultimately been positive. Dr Andrews, Dr Sarwar, and Dr Jamil have been incredibly supportive beyond my expectations. During the challenging lockdown period and despite numerous operational restrictions, they consistently prioritized patient care. Angela always greets me with her characteristic witty remarks and inquires about my father's well-being, while the reception team remains consistently courteous and accommodating. They truly represent a valuable asset to our local community.

Terrible service from rude receptionist at surgery

This is now the second instance where a receptionist, either RUMA or ROMA, has been disrespectful to my wife. While we overlooked the first occurrence, we cannot continue to accept such treatment. Her conduct is unprofessional, hostile, and demonstrates a complete unsuitability for her role. She caused significant distress to my wife by aggressively yelling and dismissively ordering her to leave the premises as if she were a criminal. My wife had simply entered the surgery through open doors to register our child, especially since conditions have been somewhat relaxed, and was previously informed by the same receptionist during last week's form collection that they would be open from Monday. The surgery must address her inappropriate behavior, and if she continues to treat any of my family members in this manner, I will escalate beyond a Google review and contact our local MP and NHS England to demand action. Fortunately, Nausheen (seemingly the manager) intervened and graciously apologized for her staff member's conduct - for which I am genuinely appreciative - and helped us register our child in a warm and considerate manner.

Disappointing service after years of loyal patient care

I had been a loyal patient at this medical practice for more than a quarter-century. Upon Dr Sinha's retirement, I attempted to seek medical guidance from Dr Sarwar, only to be abruptly informed that I must seek care elsewhere due to my current address being outside their designated service area. Dr Sarwar comes across as self-important and egotistical. Following Dr Sinha's departure, I cannot in good conscience suggest this practice to anyone seeking compassionate healthcare.

Bureaucratic Madness Turns Healthcare into Kafka's Nightmare

Signing up for a GP practice is an absolute headache! The registration process dragged on for more than a week, and you're not even allowed to see a doctor until you've completed a new health assessment - how absurd! Despite having been registered here previously when I lived in Birmingham, I was forced to write a justification letter explaining why I should be permitted to re-register. It felt like I was applying for a political candidacy rather than simply seeking medical care! If this practice wasn't so conveniently located, I would have abandoned the whole process altogether!

Terrible service and frustrating receptionist experience

I'm utterly frustrated with the medical office's reception staff. For two consecutive weeks, I've diligently called at 8am as instructed, only to be met with the same dismissive response: no available appointments, and I'm told to try again the next day. It's completely unacceptable. Moreover, I find it inappropriate that the receptionists demand to know the details of my medical issue. They aren't medical professionals, and I believe this practice is a clear violation of my personal privacy. When I'm unwell, I'm fully aware of my condition, and these staff members have no business interrogating me about the specifics of my appointment. Their intrusive questioning feels like an unnecessary and uncomfortable invasion of my medical confidentiality.

Scheduling an appointment is practically impossible. They're constantly fully booked. Medical staff display unprofessional behavior and hurry patients through brief consultations. Adults are denied walk-in access, while children, seniors, and pregnant patients receive priority treatment. Completely inconvenient for working professionals! Urgent improvements to their service are absolutely necessary.
