This practice was once exceptional, but has drastically deteriorated. The e-consult system demands you be tethered to a computer from 8 am, with an extremely narrow window that closes if missed - sometimes in less than an hour. There's zero consideration for working professionals, commuters, or parents managing school and childcare responsibilities. Even if you successfully navigate this initial hurdle, you're then subjected to unpredictable phone calls at random times, making it impossible for anyone with a structured daily schedule. The occasional text about potential call times offers little relief, forcing you into a frustrating phone queue. Their excuses about high call volumes are completely disingenuous - these extended wait times have been consistent for months, routinely exceeding an hour. Visiting in person seems the only viable option, though they still only provide vague call windows, effectively excluding full-time workers. I'm convinced this system is not just inconvenient, but potentially dangerous, likely increasing strain on emergency services and risking patient health. It's an utterly customer-unfriendly process that appears deliberately designed to discourage engagement. Tellingly, their patient feedback link remains "broken" - perhaps the only website element they've intentionally maintained.

They apparently believe that after submitting a telephone appointment request, I should spend the next 2-4 weeks passively waiting for their call. Despite providing a specific time and date, they consistently fail to contact me as promised. Attempting to reach them by phone results in being placed on hold for at least an hour, with no guarantee of a helpful resolution. I submitted an online appointment request for a critical matter, and they assured me of a Wednesday morning callback. I vigilantly monitored my phone throughout Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, only to receive a call Thursday evening when I was unavailable. Their voicemail promised a follow-up, which never materialized. Over a week and a half has passed with no communication. I'm aware of others who have struggled for weeks trying to secure telephone appointments, only to be called during work hours after explicitly stating their unavailable times. The doctors then refuse to reschedule or send condescending messages implying the patient's lack of commitment. They claim to be busy, yet somehow never manage to connect with patients. They seem oblivious to the fact that patients have professional and personal responsibilities. Their patient care is clearly lacking. Even when I finally secure an appointment, they disregard crucial medical concerns and instead focus solely on prescribing medication.

Terrible healthcare service that wastes my time
Utterly repulsive customer service. Your entire approach seems designed to frustrate customers by keeping them waiting endlessly, only to ultimately deny them any meaningful resolution. It's completely unacceptable that contacting our general practitioner is such an arduous task, even when they've specifically requested a callback. I find it outrageous that after waiting behind 25 other people in the queue, I'm simply told "your GP isn't available right now, try again tomorrow!" Every single interaction with your organization involves a minimum 45-minute wait just to speak with a representative. Without a doubt, this is the most incompetent medical practice I have ever encountered.

The entire team at the Wantage Church Street medical center, from front desk personnel to administrative staff, nursing professionals, and physicians, are incredibly supportive and truly compassionate, even while managing an extremely demanding workload. If you're in the area, I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. The only minor improvement would be implementing a direct messaging system for patients to communicate with their general practitioner, which would complete what is already an exceptional healthcare facility. 👍🏼
