I've been a patient at Church View Surgery for over two and a half decades, and I never encountered any issues with doctor consultations until the COVID-19 pandemic, which I completely understand. However, the current situation remains problematic. Yesterday morning, I called at 8 AM and was informed there were 12 calls ahead of mine. The receptionist assured me I'd receive a callback, but this didn't occur until 6 hours later. Fortunately, my medical concern wasn't critical; otherwise, this delay could have been seriously concerning. Even then, I only received a phone call—no in-person examination and no actual appointment, just a remote diagnosis. While the doctor I spoke with was exceptionally courteous and professional, which is the sole reason I'm giving a 4-star rating, the overall service experience has been disappointing.

Regrettably, the rating system forces a one-star review to provide feedback. This medical practice is unquestionably the most incompetent I've encountered. Case in point: I called to schedule an appointment precisely at 8:00, first in the phone queue, yet after 20 minutes, they claimed no availability remained. How is that even possible? When attempting to order a prescription, reception instructed me to add a note requesting a doctor's consultation. Subsequently, I received a call - not from a physician, mind you - but from a receptionist criticizing my request and directing me to call back the next morning. The level of patient disregard is utterly appalling.

Terrible service at church view medical practice

I recently joined this medical practice after relocating, and I'm already searching for an alternative. It's been nothing but frustration. I can't secure an appointment for my newborn with a severe, angry rash (despite claims that all slots are fully booked, even emergency ones). They've suggested emailing, which I find absolutely unacceptable for an infant's urgent medical need. Prescriptions are getting lost or not processed, and they've implemented a new policy requiring written, mailed prescription requests instead of phone orders - a system that seems completely impractical. While the individual doctors I've encountered appear pleasant, the overall administrative policies and organizational structure at Church View are remarkably ineffective and customer-unfriendly.
