Patient Experience Summary

Feedback on this practice reveals a deeply divided patient experience, with appointment access emerging as the most consistent concern across reviews. Securing routine consultations typically requires booking weeks in advance, with many patients reporting waits of two to three weeks or longer. The morning telephone booking system generates particular frustration, with patients describing lengthy queues and frequent unavailability of slots. Emergency appointment access, by contrast, receives consistent praise for responsiveness and accessibility. Care quality from physicians is frequently commended, with patients highlighting professional expertise, attentive listening, and thorough diagnostic approaches. However, reception experience presents a stark contrast to clinical care, with multiple reviews citing discourteous staff conduct, unprofessional attitudes, and communication failures that undermine confidence in the service.

Patients report significant variation in their interactions with reception staff, with some describing warmth and helpfulness whilst others experienced dismissiveness and hostility. Waiting times beyond scheduled appointments are commonly mentioned, though some patients acknowledge this reflects thorough clinical attention. The practice environment has been criticized in isolated reviews for cleanliness concerns. Communication breakdowns appear in several accounts, including missed referral follow-ups, incorrect information provision, and inadequate responsiveness to patient concerns. A minority of reviews raise serious concerns about medication management and clinical decision-making, though these represent individual experiences rather than systematic patterns.

For patients who have experienced positive interactions, particularly those with long-standing relationships with the practice, satisfaction centers on continuity of care, compassionate treatment, and professional competence. The disparity between positive and negative feedback suggests that experience varies significantly depending on appointment type, reception staff encountered, and individual clinical circumstances. Appointment availability and reception courtesy represent the primary areas where patient satisfaction diverges most sharply from clinical care quality.

Fantastic healthcare with caring and efficient staff

I couldn't ask for a better medical practice. The physicians consistently listen attentively and ensure you're directed to the most appropriate specialist. Moreover, the front desk team is exceptional - they're incredibly supportive, always going above and beyond to help me, such as swiftly arranging after-hours consultations when needed.

Frustrating healthcare system fails patients miserably

I've been struggling to secure a doctor's appointment. It's completely unmanageable. When I visited in person to schedule, I was informed no appointments were available. The waiting room sits completely vacant, which is a constant occurrence. Something is fundamentally wrong with this healthcare system - it's clearly dysfunctional. Attempting to book by phone at 8am means getting stuck in an endless queue. Despite all efforts, you still can't get an appointment. Accident and Emergency departments are overwhelmed with patients who should be seeing their general practitioner. We're no longer under pandemic limitations, so it's time to restore normal service operations.

Worst customer service ever, never again

The front desk staff member was incredibly unhelpful and rude. Their attitude was completely unprofessional, and they made me feel unwelcome from the moment I approached the counter. I was frustrated by their lack of basic customer service skills and unwillingness to assist me with even the simplest request. This experience left a terrible first impression and significantly detracted from my overall visit.

Terrible medical practice endangering patient lives

I can't comprehend how this establishment continues to operate in such an unprofessional manner! The front desk staff are discourteous, and the physicians consistently make errors with prescriptions! Previously, I was abruptly discharged without warning and left without critical medication. I was simply instructed to wait and contact them in a fortnight to potentially schedule a doctor's appointment! Given my chronic, life-threatening condition, this incompetent facility is literally jeopardizing my survival!!! They are fundamentally failing to provide the care they are meant to deliver! Awarding them even one star feels excessively generous for this complete mockery of a medical practice.

Smooth and quick nhs registration experience

I signed up as a fresh patient through the NHS online portal, and they promptly contacted me within a fortnight to schedule a face-to-face consultation. The reception staff and nurse were exceptionally welcoming and courteous. Additionally, they shared my digital appointment access credentials with me.

Terrible medical care that left my child suffering

Complete shambles, spent more than two hours waiting to consult a physician, only to be continuously dismissed with excuses about an on-call doctor who was actually sitting idle for over an hour. Other medical staff were also present with no patients, yet claimed their schedules were completely booked. My child was in distress, wailing for hours, and the staff showed zero compassion or empathy. The service was utterly unacceptable and the entire medical practice was a total disaster.

Terrible service from rude receptionist ruins medical experience

The medical staff are excellent, but getting an appointment is challenging. One receptionist named Theresa displays an incredibly unprofessional attitude and seems to think she runs the entire practice. After waiting a full month to secure an appointment, they shockingly cancelled on the actual day. When I called to inquire, her demeanor was confrontational and hostile - she appeared to be deliberately seeking an argument. Her behavior is so inappropriate that she should definitely be terminated from her position!!!!

Heartless doctor dismisses my chronic catheter pain

Dr. Gray, yet another physician displaying an inflated sense of self-importance, dismissed the chronic pain I've endured for three years due to my catheter. He boldly claimed I shouldn't be experiencing discomfort, then abruptly denied me the pain medication that Worcester health has consistently prescribed for me over the past three years.

Terrible healthcare leaving patients in unbearable pain

Wish I could rate them lower than the minimum. Having been diagnosed with spina bifida and experiencing arthritis along with additional health challenges, I'm enduring extreme discomfort and significantly reduced mobility, especially during this season. The financial strain of heating costs leaves my home freezing, and to make matters worse, the medical practice is denying me prescribed medications listed in my medical records and scheduling appointments no earlier than six weeks from now. Their complete lack of compassion is appalling, and the doctor blatantly disregards basic patient care responsibilities. If you want to survive this winter, STEER CLEAR OF THIS MEDICAL PRACTICE AND DR. GREY!!!!

Helpful doctors but frustrating appointment system

The medical professionals at this facility are commendable, but my rating reflects the deeply flawed appointment scheduling process. I was number 19 in the queue, enduring a lengthy wait only to discover no appointments were accessible. It would significantly improve the patient experience if a preemptive message could inform callers about appointment unavailability, thereby preventing wasted time, mounting frustration, and subsequent letdown after such a prolonged hold. However, the system should still permit those who wish to speak directly with reception to remain in the queue. As a result, I'm now uncertain whether to seek emergency care or attempt booking again the following day.

Terrible service and impossible to get an appointment

Absolutely terrible general practitioner experience that tops my list of medical nightmares. I attempted to schedule an appointment by calling at 8:00 AM, and by 8:02 AM they had already flatly rejected my request, leaving me completely frustrated and without medical care.

Worst medical practice ever terrible service

Since the pandemic, their service has deteriorated from already poor performance with prescription handling and missed communication promises. They've become completely ineffective now. Securing a doctor's appointment has turned into a desperate lottery, with emergency slots being the only option and no planned consultations available. Their standard approach is to deflect patients with phone consultations that ultimately recommend either walk-in clinics or redirecting patients to a distant surgery miles away. I've personally withdrawn my prescription management due to frustrating interactions with their reception staff. If I'm being referred to a location 6 miles distant, I might as well simultaneously search for a new medical practice. The entire experience is overwhelming and futile. My advice: skip the headache and simply contact the NHS 111 service instead.

Frustrating healthcare with endless appointment struggles

The medical staff here are top-notch, but accessing their services is a nightmare. Securing a routine appointment seems virtually impossible, with the only option being to ring at 8am and hope for a callback. I've been attempting to schedule a visit for two days now without success, and today's excuse was that the locum physician didn't show up. I've also tried booking through the patient access website, but the earliest available slot is March 23rd - a 13-day wait that's completely unacceptable. The practice desperately needs to return to its previous appointment system instead of this frustrating morning call approach. When I phoned yesterday, their response was essentially "if you're not satisfied, go to Russell's hall A&E" - which explains why hospital emergency departments are under such immense strain. In my view, their current operational model is fundamentally broken and not serving patients' needs 😢

Terrible service from discriminatory medical staff

I've been trying to get an appointment with this medical practice for nearly a year, and I've consistently been unsuccessful. The receptionist appears to be discriminatory and extremely unprofessional, seemingly only scheduling appointments for individuals she personally favors. I strongly advise against choosing this healthcare provider. The practice urgently needs to terminate the receptionist's employment.
