Exceptional care and compassion at local surgery

We've been registered with this medical practice since 2012, and throughout that entire period, I can't recall a single negative encounter. Having two young children, I've never felt embarrassed about the (potentially trivial) reasons I've brought them in for consultations. The reception team are incredibly supportive and consistently go out of their way to help. Every single GP and nursing professional are genuinely warm and welcoming - and this isn't just a facade for the children, but extends to me as well. Appointments never feel hurried, and you always feel genuinely heard. While all the doctors are fantastic, Dr. Kelly specifically has motivated me to share this review. I recently visited with my 4 and 8-year-old for separate medical concerns, and she was absolutely wonderful with both. She took considerable time and care examining the children, actively engaging and involving them in the conversation rather than just speaking to me. When discussing potential blood work with my 8-year-old daughter, Dr. Kelly patiently answered every single one of her questions. I sincerely hope the surgery staff can read this review, as they truly deserve to know how exceptional their work is. We are incredibly fortunate to have our magnificent NHS! 💙

Absolutely dreadful service. Securing a consultation with my general practitioner to obtain a referral for a specialist consultation has proven to be an insurmountable challenge, even after an emergency room visit overseas that strongly recommended I follow up with my GP about scheduling a cardiac MRI and consulting a specialist regarding my arrhythmia. The reception staff seem completely uninterested in helping, making the process incredibly frustrating. I've attempted to book an appointment twice this week, and their online booking system is non-functional. Now I've been instructed to call back yet again next week, prolonging this already exhausting ordeal.

The staff were courteous, and the clinic is adequate for scheduling routine check-ups in advance like vaccinations and screenings. However, securing an appointment when actually ill was consistently challenging. Especially for in-person consultations. Typically, I was only offered a phone consultation several days later with no specific time slot, which is entirely impractical and likely causes numerous missed interactions. It seemed the practice had no real intention of returning to standard service levels post-2020. I've subsequently changed GP practices and found a local alternative with a much more patient-centered appointment approach. Response to Claremont: Suggesting I was attempting to book at the incorrect clinic is both absurd and offensive. The reason no appointments appear for me this year is simply that I could not secure one meeting my requirements. Just three weeks ago, on the same day I transferred clinics, I successfully obtained an appointment elsewhere. My review represents an honest, personal account intended to help others researching local healthcare options. From my perspective - you have absolutely not delivered 'the best availability in London'

During my medical appointment this afternoon, the young staff member who assisted me was delightful and courteous. However, I was deeply upset when a tanned blonde woman with fair hair openly mocked me in front of her colleague dressed in black, who momentarily left the reception desk to refill her water bottle. This same individual then proceeded to ridicule me again when I was helpfully assisting another patient who had recently moved to the area and was uncertain about her postcode - a location I was familiar with from my previous residence. Her behavior seemed particularly inappropriate, and I cannot help but wonder if her actions were motivated by prejudice, either due to her discomfort with a Black person speaking with a distinctly English accent or simply a broader racial bias.

Previously, I dealt with another healthcare provider where scheduling appointments, obtaining prescriptions, and receiving quality service was consistently challenging. In stark contrast, Claremont Medical Centre has been exceptional. Their online appointment system is straightforward, and I've consistently received a response and scheduled a visit within 24 hours. During a time when I required immediate medical attention, they accommodated me with a same-day appointment. The staff, from the receptionists to the doctors, are remarkably courteous and attentive. The physicians genuinely listen and provide excellent care. I cannot recommend this medical center highly enough - their service is truly outstanding.

Frustrating prescription system ruins helpful staff experience

The staff at Raleigh, Claremont, and Rolle are truly commendable. Sadly, their genuine attempts to help are completely undermined by systemic shortcomings. For the seventh consecutive month, I've encountered difficulties when trying to reorder a repeat prescription. Additionally, the "system online close" feature is utterly nonsensical. It misleads you by presenting a function for selection, only to inform you that the selected option is unavailable!
