Coming from an exceptional medical practice with an outstanding physician, this new clinic has completely failed to inspire any confidence. Terrible service and rude staff at medical practice

This medical practice is extremely unprofessional. The practice manager displays terrible communication skills and lacks basic courtesy when interacting with patients. The entire staff comes across as discourteous and unhelpful. I strongly recommend patients consider switching to Berryland surgery instead, as these people are completely unaccommodating and refuse to schedule appointments.

Rude receptionist ruins potential patient experience

The receptionist, Stephanie, displayed an appalling level of rudeness and hostility. When I inquired about a specific time for my phone appointment (which wasn't processed through the online system), I was informed that no precise timing could be provided and that I should remain available throughout the entire day. Explaining my work commitments led to the receptionist becoming extremely agitated. I was verbally attacked and told I should seek services elsewhere if I was dissatisfied with their approach. Upon requesting that she remain calm and maintain professionalism, she outright refused to schedule my appointment and aggressively suggested I find alternative care, hurling additional verbal abuse during our interaction. When I subsequently called back, another receptionist apologized for the previous encounter and advised me to avoid the problematic staff member. While the doctors and remaining staff are excellent, it is deeply unfortunate that one individual's unprofessional and confrontational behavior can so significantly damage the practice's reputation and overall perception.

The medical staff here are wonderful, but communication seems to be a major issue. I find myself constantly pursuing doctors to get assistance, and when I finally connect with someone, they appear clueless about my situation. A prescription modification I discussed over a month ago was supposedly approved, yet my pharmacy remains uninformed, leaving me on a reduced medication dosage for an extended period. My mental health struggles—feeling deeply depressed and having suicidal thoughts—make it challenging to even wake up before mid-morning, further complicating my ability to follow up. An email option would be incredibly helpful. Additionally, I've experienced multiple instances where, after requesting to reschedule with one physician, another doctor still attempts to contact me, seemingly disregarding my prior communication about my unavailability at the GP.

Getting an appointment with these doctors is excellent when you finally manage to secure one. However, booking a slot is incredibly challenging. The online booking system is completely inaccessible during restricted hours, which is especially problematic for working parents or anyone with a busy schedule. You're essentially unable to communicate via email at alternative times. The process feels utterly hopeless, and I truly miss the days of being able to speak directly with someone. Every time I've tried to inquire in person, the staff have been consistently discourteous. The entire experience has been profoundly frustrating and disheartening.

Frustrating medical access with poor online system

Previously, consultations with the doctors were smooth, but since covid, accessing care has become significantly more challenging. The phone system was already suboptimal and could have been improved by implementing a standard queue system that informs callers of their position, as many other services do. The online platform is now evidently ineffective. I submitted an online form four days ago and received no response while my health condition persisted. When I visited in person today, a courteous receptionist informed me she had no record of my submission. (Upon later checking, I discovered my online submission was indeed logged). With an online system, how can a patient verify whether their communication has actually been received by the medical practice? Extremely frustrating. The era of direct, responsive communication seems to have vanished, and clear deficiencies exist within the digital submission process. I fully understand the increased demand and various pressures on the GP system, but if patients cannot readily access essential services, there is undeniably a fundamental problem.
