Surgical experience declines from excellent to disappointing

A few years back, I would have wholeheartedly endorsed this surgical procedure without hesitation. It was truly outstanding! Unfortunately, the situation has deteriorated. While the staff remains incredibly supportive, they appear constrained by what seems to be administrative complexities or overwhelming workload, making even straightforward tasks challenging. Regrettably, I can no longer give it my stamp of approval.

Terrible service for immunology patient in need

I'm extremely frustrated with the lack of support from the medical practice. When I attempted to seek assistance with scheduling a doctor's appointment due to difficulties with the online form, the receptionist abruptly ended the call after I tried to file a complaint. This is particularly concerning because I'm experiencing a serious medical issue with swollen lips and facial pain, and as an immunology patient on a specific treatment plan, I've been instructed to contact the surgery for emergency medical attention. My anxiety makes it challenging for me to go to the hospital, which further complicates my situation, and the staff's unhelpful attitude has only added to my distress.

The service and customer support are appallingly subpar, displaying zero comprehension of patient concerns, zero compassion, and staff that are utterly callous and devoid of human empathy. This organization squanders public funds and represents a complete drain on governmental resources. It deserves immediate and permanent closure due to its chronic inability to properly address patient needs. If a zero-star rating were possible, it would perfectly capture the abysmal nature of my interactions with this institution.

Sadly, I had to relocate because of personal mobility challenges, and it had progressively become more difficult to connect with a general practitioner who was genuinely familiar with my medical history. Dedicated team with some room for improvement

There are some addressable concerns (detailed below) but fundamentally they're a capable team making an admirable effort to handle an overwhelming patient load and high demand. The front desk staff are particularly excellent. PATCHS (an online system for appointment requests and issue reporting) represents a solid concept. While it could be more nuanced and less robotic in its interactions, it provides a convenient method for raising concerns without needing to make a phone call. I understand they're incredibly swamped, but most patients are attempting to be accommodating, yet their communication approach can be exasperating. During telephone consultations, they occasionally make extremely brief calls that instantly disconnect. Since the number is concealed, there's no way to return the call. This conduct comes across as discourteous and thoroughly unsatisfactory.

The reception team, especially the younger staff members, are incredibly welcoming and supportive. They truly make an effort to go the extra mile in assisting patients. The doctors are exceptional, with Dr Tankle, Dr Rafferty, Dr Jukes, Dr Coish, and Dr Angeli (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) standing out as particularly outstanding healthcare professionals - Dr Angeli especially, though I haven't consulted her recently. Despite these positives, there's considerable frustration when attempting to schedule a routine appointment. Calling just after 2 PM often results in being told they've reached their maximum capacity for consultations. This situation is symptomatic of broader healthcare challenges under the current government. It's important to note that these limitations aren't the fault of the surgery itself, but reflect wider systemic issues.

Shocking medical incompetence after decades of loyalty

I've been a patient at this medical practice for nearly four decades, and recently, my family has encountered the most unacceptable level of care. My father has been waiting for his mammogram and blood test results since November 30th, 2021. We've contacted the doctor's office four separate times seeking these results, and each time we were told they were unavailable. A follow-up call today revealed that they actually received the results on December 22nd. This level of incompetence is completely unacceptable.

Compassionate care for my daughter's allergy testing

Visited the Allergy clinic with my daughter, and the personnel were absolutely wonderful - From the ground floor reception to the upstairs nursing staff, everyone was incredibly supportive and engaging with my child. I'm truly impressed by the Nurses and Doctor who guided us through the weighing and testing process, and they were all exceptional. Regarding Covid protocols, the facility was immaculately maintained, with all individuals, including staff, wearing masks and sanitizing products readily available throughout the building :)
