I have used it several times for different health concerns and have been very satisfied with the results. My most recent experience was particularly positive. Within a few hours of submitting my query through the practice, my issue was resolved. I had a telephone discussion with a clinician who recommended that I visit the surgery for a more thorough assessment. During my appointment, my concern was examined and a specialist from the practice was also consulted. Appropriate medication was prescribed and my problem was successfully treated. I had an excellent relationship with one particular doctor early on. There was a period of inconsistency, but then I found continuity with another clinician who I stayed with until their retirement, which was disappointing as they provided excellent care. I made efforts to build relationships with other doctors and found this worked well. More recently, I have developed a strong rapport with another clinician and feel confident in their care. The reception team, nursing staff, and healthcare assistants have also been supportive. I recognise that patient satisfaction varies and some individuals may have different experiences.

I find it frustrating how long it takes to receive answers. Communication often comes through reception or nursing staff, and direct contact with a doctor is rare, which leaves me feeling dismissed. Eventually someone did speak with me, but there seemed to be limited understanding of my situation or how to address it properly. I had to explain how my condition affects me and the pain I experience. I had to push hard to obtain antibiotics, yet there appeared to be a willingness to continue prescribing strong painkillers and other medications that I'm concerned may be causing additional harm to my health. The practice would benefit from more straightforward and transparent communication overall.

The healthcare provider has kept me on sick leave for three months without any consultation or follow-up appointments. Despite following the correct procedures to obtain the necessary documentation on time, there were still administrative issues that negatively impacted my entitlements and caused me significant stress.
