Booked translator never arrives when needed

Every time I attend appointments requesting a language interpreter, despite booking one in advance, one is not provided. This makes it very difficult for me to comprehend what is being communicated to me. I have not consistently seen the same clinician throughout my care. In my view, the standard of care I have received appears inadequate. There have been no diagnostic tests arranged, and following today's appointment, I feel disappointed. I attended with discomfort during urination. A test was performed at the clinic, with results indicating no infection is present. I was unable to convey my history of previous kidney-related issues, though the focus seemed to be solely on the infection test result being negative, which was then considered sufficient resolution.

I recently called to book an appointment and found the receptionist's manner somewhat condescending. I was offered an off-site appointment which would be very difficult for me to attend. I was informed that the only available slot at the main location was at 3:30pm that day. I felt sceptical about this being the sole option, as I would have preferred a morning appointment. I was disappointed with the overall experience.

Couldn't get an appointment despite repeated calls

This practice has not met my expectations. The service has been disappointing as well. I attempted to contact them multiple times regarding a family member's health concern but was unable to secure an appointment. When I called this morning, I was again unable to obtain an appointment for myself. It seems unclear why the practice operates if appointments are not readily available. I am currently dealing with a health issue, yet I was advised to either attend an emergency service or try calling back another day. If I need to resort to emergency services, I question the value of being registered with this practice. This situation feels very frustrating. My previous practice provided a much better standard of care. Unfortunately, due to relocating, I had to change to this practice. I am quite dissatisfied with the level of service provided.

Surgery dropped me over medication needs

I would rate this experience lower if possible. This practice seemed content to have me registered while my circumstances were straightforward, but once I required ongoing prescriptions, I was suddenly told I fell outside their catchment area. This is frustrating given that the NHS system shows my location as being within their registered boundaries and eligible for registration with them.

I have been experiencing a persistent respiratory issue for several weeks now. Whenever I attempt to book an appointment, I am repeatedly told to call at a specific time in the morning, only to be informed that no slots are available. Despite explaining that I am having difficulty breathing and require medical attention, I continue to receive the same response about unavailable appointments. I was directed to attend an alternative clinic, where after being assessed, I was instructed to return to my regular practice to schedule an appointment. I find it extremely frustrating that I cannot progress beyond the initial booking stage. The entire process feels ineffective and unhelpful.

I contacted the practice to arrange a consultation. An appointment was scheduled for me that same morning at 10:00am, during which I was advised that a blood test would be necessary. A follow-up appointment for the test was made available shortly afterwards at 10:40am. The results were promptly reflected in the NHS app, and I am currently awaiting my prescription.
