Longtime Patient Frustrated by New Receptionist Attitude
Once a top-notch medical practice, the recent staff changes have completely transformed the patient experience—and not for the better. The new front desk personnel are incredibly difficult during phone interactions, constantly challenging every request and comment with an incredibly dismissive attitude. Their unprofessional behavior is shocking. After being a loyal patient for over two and a half decades, the last six months—since these new employees and their new system were introduced—have been absolutely frustrating. I'm seriously considering switching healthcare providers. It's truly disappointing because the actual medical professionals—the doctors and nurses—remain absolutely excellent!

Rude Receptionist Ruins Great Doctors' Practice
It pains me to write this review because the physicians at this clinic have been consistently exceptional!! Regrettably, the front desk personnel are completely incompetent and ultimately render this medical practice unworkable. I've interacted multiple times with a staff member named Tracy, and each encounter leaves me feeling humiliated: she consistently makes me feel diminished because of my health issues. Recently, one of the doctors actually had to apologize on behalf of the entire practice for her unacceptable conduct... yet her unprofessional demeanor remains unchanged. Although I've been thoroughly impressed by the medical professionals, I've ultimately decided to transfer my medical records to another practice due to her appalling behavior. Completely unacceptable.

I've been stuck waiting since 10:30 in the morning, finally reaching reception by 11, only to be placed on hold again for the doctor, who ultimately disconnected the call after another 10-minute wait. My partner went through an identical frustrating experience just a fortnight ago. This is absolutely unacceptable customer service. (To their credit, the surgery did reach out to apologize personally, and I now have a scheduled appointment with a physician).

I find it absolutely unacceptable that your phone support shuts down during critical hours! I've been grappling with an unresolved medical condition for an extended period, and I'm constantly forced to initiate follow-ups. They insist on a process of elimination, run tests where my results appear standard, and then dismissively declare no further investigation is necessary. I'm repeatedly left in the position of having to advocate for additional testing, and I'm utterly exhausted from enduring this persistent discomfort.

Their appointment system is remarkably efficient; I've always managed to secure a consultation or speak with a physician, even with my challenging shift work schedule. The availability of late evening appointments at this surgery and its sister location has been particularly convenient. Whenever specialist referrals were necessary, I've been promptly directed to the appropriate healthcare professional. I've consulted numerous doctors and nurses at the practice and encountered zero issues, including interactions with trainee medical staff - whom I know are properly supervised, and who have demonstrated thorough and confident examination skills. While acknowledging that no healthcare provider is entirely flawless and medical errors can be serious, when compared to other general practice experiences I've heard about, this surgery stands out as truly excellent.

Terrible mix-up at QE hospital reception
These healthcare professionals display complete negligence. The physician instructed me to wait at reception for an ENT specialist consultation at QE hospital, but an abrasive receptionist erroneously scheduled me for an appointment in the cancer ward. My hearing has already been compromised due to this incompetent and discourteous general practitioner. I emphatically advise against their services.
