Terrible service and unreliable medical care nightmare

The service is extremely sluggish and ineffective, with our son's referral being postponed because a previous employee would simply neglect tasks she found challenging! The new triage approach is completely pointless! My partner has been added to the list approximately three times with zero follow-up calls!! On the rare occasions we've received calls, there's a recurring staff member who seems utterly confused and contradicts herself, appearing totally unprepared. We consistently pursue additional medical perspectives since I have zero confidence in this practice's ability to manage our healthcare!

Doctors surgery disaster beyond all expectations

I am utterly astounded that in 2025, I find myself writing this complaint. Approximately six weeks ago, I scheduled a blood test for 9am today, given the scarce availability beforehand. Arriving at 8:40am, well ahead of my appointment, I discovered the surgery in complete darkness with an unanswered phone. Numerous patients, many significantly older than myself, were left standing outside in the cold, some reportedly waiting since 8am. The nurse eventually appeared but was without keys to enter the facility. Despite her attempts to contact someone to unlock the premises, she was unsuccessful. As I work on the opposite side of London, I had to take half a day off work, resulting in lost wages. I intend to pursue compensation through alternative communication channels. In five years, I have only visited the doctors once, actively avoiding medical facilities, and on my second visit, this is the experience I encounter. How can a medical practice possibly depend on a single individual holding the keys to open? It's absolutely absurd! To add insult to injury, I received a cancellation text message at 9:50am! This situation is, without exaggeration, a complete and utter shambles.

Worst medical experience ever terrible customer service

Disastrous medical practice with zero patient consideration and abysmal communication. I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Williams, but they completely failed to maintain any record of my appointment, even after I had confirmed it by phone. Upon arriving for my scheduled time, I was swiftly dismissed without any resolution, with the only offered alternative being a follow-up call from the physician the next day. That subsequent phone conversation was even more frustrating and entirely unproductive. No meaningful assistance was provided, and no further diagnostic steps were suggested. This medical practice is so incompetent that I am definitively transferring my healthcare elsewhere. The litany of problems continues, and I could easily elaborate further. Patients should steer clear of this place.

Greedy practice charging unfair referral fees

Proceed with caution when seeking a specialist referral - the NHS clearly indicates referral letters should be provided at no cost. However, this particular medical practice asserts that individual practices can set their own policy. The receptionist informed me they charge £25 per referral letter, payable only in cash. This fee is even applied to children's referrals. To make matters more inconvenient, there's no facility to make change, so patients must bring the exact amount. The rationale behind this cash-only charge remains unclear and perplexing.

Terrible medical experience with unhelpful and rude staff

Completely repulsive, disrespectful, and incompetent medical professionals I've ever encountered! Except for the young woman at the front desk who genuinely tries to assist, the rest of the reception staff are arrogant and act like they're experts without any medical qualifications. I deeply regret choosing this clinic and can't wait to leave. They're utterly unhelpful and seem content to let patients endure their suffering - ABSOLUTELY AVOID!

Frustrating healthcare nightmare with endless phone calls

I'm seeking a medication adjustment for my type 2 diabetes... Yesterday, I called to schedule an appointment and was instructed to phone back at 8 AM today. I spent 56 attempts dialing between 8:00 and 8:30 before finally connecting. When I did, I was informed the doctor would return my call during the day. After eight and a half hours, no call had come through. I rang again and was once more assured the doctor would contact me, but no call materialized. Now the medical practice is closed until Monday, and I'm certain I'll have to repeat this exhausting process. This situation is completely unacceptable.

Absolutely terrible encounter. Scheduling an appointment is an incredibly challenging process. The personnel are unhelpful and extremely discourteous. Even when the physician is right beside you, they refuse to conduct an in-person consultation and instead opt to call you. The phone consultation consists of generic, perfunctory questions and lasts barely a minute. How can anyone tolerate such treatment? It feels like being in a severely underdeveloped nation

Great doctor goes above and beyond

My family and I recently joined this medical practice after being dissatisfied with our previous local clinic's treatment. Contrary to another review, I completely disagree that Dr. Williams doesn't invest time in patient communication. Recently, when my son was facing potential hospitalization for his rare condition that occasionally flares up, Dr. Williams was incredibly supportive. He spent considerable time on the phone with me, listening attentively to all my concerns and going well beyond his scheduled consultation time. Dr. Williams was proactive in managing my son's health, quickly arranging an MRI brain scan and sending an injection prescription to our pharmacy to prevent repeated hospital admissions. Compared to other doctors we've consulted about my son's condition (and we've seen many), he stands out for his commitment to thoroughly investigating and understanding the root causes. Additionally, my husband's repeat medication process was handled smoothly during our practice transfer. We are genuinely pleased with our decision to switch to this medical practice. Our sincere thanks to Dr. Williams for his exceptional care and dedication!

Negligent doctors fail to provide proper care

Terrible ordeal. I filed a written complaint over a month ago and have received zero response. Each telephone consultation with the physicians has been incredibly brief, barely lasting 90 seconds. Doctor Williams shows absolutely no interest in listening to my symptoms or providing any medical intervention. His negligence ultimately led me to the emergency room. When I described some extremely painful cramping in my side, he actually mocked me. I still haven't heard anything regarding my initial complaint. I followed up two weeks ago and was assured they would contact me, but nothing. The entire experience made me feel completely abandoned by the healthcare professionals who are supposed to support and care for patients. The receptionists are pleasant, but the doctors demonstrate a shocking lack of professional responsibility. Absolutely would not recommend.

Frustrating experience with limited female doctor availability

Since becoming a patient here, I've generally been satisfied, but today has left me frustrated! It's incredibly disappointing that they only have a single female physician working a single day per week. She was completely scheduled and couldn't accommodate me, forcing me to delay my consultation by another week... while my health concerns continue to deteriorate, and I'm uncomfortable discussing these matters with a male doctor. When I attempted to schedule an appointment for my infant, I was simply instructed to telephone back at 8am on Monday. This seems inconsistent, as previous interactions with receptionists at later hours have been productive and pleasant, with appointments readily available. The whole experience has made me feel utterly discouraged and unsupported!

Bernadette saves the day at terrible surgery

Bernadette, the surgery manager, is the sole bright spot in this otherwise frustrating experience. Throughout my pregnancy at this surgery, I've encountered numerous challenges. When attempting to schedule a 16-week midwife appointment, I was offered a date three weeks later, which would have been completely inappropriate. My workplace requires a MATB1 form confirming my pregnancy by 25 weeks. I was initially told I could obtain this from a midwife or my doctor by simply calling and collecting it the next day, especially since he was the one who initially referred me for an early 7-week scan. Following the advised procedure, I called during the doctor's limited 30-minute window to request this essential work document. Instead of help, Dr. Chandralingam interrupted me, talked over me, and then accused me of being rude and not listening. This is absolutely not the kind of treatment a first-time expectant mother should receive.
