Friendly doctors trapped by terrible front desk staff

The medical practitioners are wonderful, but the front desk staff are frustratingly difficult, creating barriers and disregarding the physicians' guidance on subsequent consultations. They provide absolutely no compassionate support to patients who are unwell and seem to wield an inappropriate level of influence given their lack of clinical training.

Terrible service from rude and unprofessional receptionists

A medical practice plagued by unprofessional front desk personnel! The pair of receptionists displayed an appalling lack of courtesy. It's truly disappointing that the reception team undermines the entire practice, especially given the excellent quality of the physicians. Management urgently needs to address their inappropriate conduct and attitude.

Impossible to reach impossible to get care

The real issue isn't the quality of service during an appointment, but the sheer impossibility of securing one. It's utterly futile trying to reach them by phone - at no point, regardless of the hour, does anyone pick up. We've made two separate trips to their location, only to discover it closed both times. As a consequence, we're compelled to seek out another option. Should you possess the patience to essentially stake out their premises in hopes of scheduling a visit, you'll discover that the actual care provided is excellent.

Loyal patient praises exceptional medical care

I've been a patient at this surgery for nearly a decade, and I'm genuinely disappointed by the negative feedback. Sure, there might be a couple of staff members who aren't up to par, but that's inevitable even in top-tier establishments. Despite moving from Hulme to Wythenshawe, which was quite inconvenient, I chose to stick with this surgery solely because of the exceptional thoroughness of the doctors. A special mention goes to Dr. Raj, who has since departed. All my healthcare providers have been incredibly supportive. Dr. Fletcher, Dr. Norcliff, Dr. James - though I apologize for any names I might have missed. If anyone has legitimate concerns about a specific doctor or staff member, I encourage you to file a formal complaint so improvements can be made.

A hectic medical practice with inefficient personnel (except for Karen) Consistently unresponsive to phone calls Perpetually unhelpful And consistently discourteous, frequently causing confusion about prescription details for both patients and staff. The entire team would benefit immensely from comprehensive customer service and empathy training. It's unfortunate that the front desk staff undermine the entire clinic's reputation, especially given how caring and supportive the physicians are.

Disappointed with new receptionist's unhelpful attitude

I attempted to contact your office today from noon onwards to cancel an appointment scheduled for 5:15 PM, but no one picked up the phone. Eventually, a new, young receptionist answered at 4 PM and informed me it was too late, declaring the request as unattended. I tried to explain that I had made multiple attempts to cancel earlier, but no one was available. Despite this frustration, I want to acknowledge that I have appreciated your three receptionists over the past few years, especially since everyone knows how GP receptionists can often be harsh with patients. However, these new young receptionists sometimes concern me with their approach to communicating with patients. I am specifically a patient at Cornbrook Medical Surgery, not the City Road location.
