Frustrating healthcare experience with unhelpful staff

I called the medical practice at 8am as recommended, only to find myself 58th in line and opt for a callback. When they rang back at 8:30, I was informed there were no available appointments. I explained to the receptionist that this was a recurring issue requiring a GP consultation, but was simply told to attempt booking again the following day - which is incredibly challenging for someone working full-time. Additionally, the receptionist provided inaccurate information about the pharmacy first service at local pharmacies. Having worked in pharmacy for over a decade, I was well aware of the service's limitations and knew I couldn't utilize it. This interaction clearly demonstrates that the staff urgently need more comprehensive training regarding local healthcare services!

The customer service representative on the phone was unhelpful and discourteous. During a moment of significant anxiety, I endured a wait exceeding 90 minutes, only to be told I must call back the following morning at 8am. She provided minimal explanation, simply stating there were numerous people in the queue and accusing me of being aggressive. She repeatedly interrupted me, saying, "Excuse me, don't shout at me!" when I was merely expressing frustration about being asked to call back again without receiving any substantive assistance.

Terrible service and zero patient care

Steer clear of this medical practice! They're impossible when it comes to scheduling appointments and handling referrals. After ignoring my concerns for three days, they promised me a guaranteed slot if I arrived early in the morning. When I showed up, I was 10th in line, and suddenly there were no available appointments. All they do is suggest going to a walk-in clinic. I've been a patient here for some time, and not once have I been given a proper appointment - I'm constantly being redirected elsewhere. My entire family is done with this doctor's office!

Doctors great but dispatchers destroy patient experience

The medical staff is exceptional, but the front desk personnel are absolutely terrible. Despite being next in the queue, the receptionist abruptly terminated the call or deliberately hung up on me while I was simply waiting to confirm my appointment. When I attempted to reconnect, I discovered my scheduled time had vanished, and the staff refused to provide any assistance. Securing a doctor's appointment is already challenging, so I strongly recommend steering clear of this facility.

Frustrating administrative chaos at medical practice

The medical staff might be top-notch, but their administrative processes are seriously flawed. Our registration form vanished not once, but twice, and when we finally managed to get registered and secure an appointment for our infant, they sent a confirmation text that was nonsensically copied from a previous message, mentioning "Cornerways Medical Centre" when the actual location was different. We were essentially expected to telepathically divine the correct venue. Ultimately, we opted to switch general practitioners because their administrative system is fundamentally broken, with text communications that consistently lack accurate details. In all our healthcare experiences, we've never encountered such organizational incompetence.

Terrible experience with incompetent medical staff nightmare

Went in for blood work on 16/9/24 around 10:25pm, and the phlebotomist was incredibly rough - my arm looks like it's been through a meat grinder. To make matters worse, I was handed a urine sample kit with zero instructions. When I tried to submit it at the reception, the staff member flatly rejected it. This medical center is an absolute embarrassment, completely unprofessional and incompetent.

Frustrating customer service nightmare with endless waiting

Stuck in an endless waiting loop at their customer service. First, spent 40 minutes as the top caller, only to be left hanging. After an hour of frustration, I disconnected and redialed. This time, I was 21st in line, then 23rd, waiting another 10 minutes. I've sent a complaint email, but they apparently only respond weekly. If I don't hear back, I'll escalate to CQC. To add insult to injury, I just got a text claiming the doctor attempted to call me back. However, my phone shows no missed calls. The message suggested a priority callback, but when I called the number, I was once again first in the queue and left on hold for 25 minutes.

Just underwent a merger with Bluebell practice. Attempted to schedule an appointment for my elderly mother precisely at 8am, and by 8:02am, a recorded message declared all daily slots were already filled! This is completely absurd and utterly ridiculous - how can this even happen???!!!

Frustrating wait for help at nhs service

The receptionist was kind and genuinely attempted to assist, but I've been waiting to see someone for more than a fortnight now. This NHS service is absolutely appalling and deeply frustrating. It's no surprise people are driven to such desperation when you attempt to seek help and find nobody available. The government must urgently confront this critical issue, as they are directly responsible for numerous preventable deaths by their inaction and negligence 🤬
