Exceptional medical care with friendly and responsive gp

I can't comprehend why some individuals criticize this medical practice when my personal experience over the past seven years has been exceptional. I've consistently been able to schedule appointments starting at 8am and always manage to consult with a GP on the same day. The general practitioners are incredibly supportive, attentive, and provide excellent guidance. I've encountered zero problems throughout my interactions with them. Worst medical practice ever nightmare of a healthcare experience

I've been attempting to secure a doctor's appointment for two months now!! Every morning, I'm instructed to call at 8am to have any chance of booking a slot. Today, I've been stuck on hold for nearly two hours, only to have the call disconnected. I've subsequently redialed 62 times. I'm genuinely curious about what these staff members are actually paid to do? They consistently ignore phone calls and refuse to schedule appointments. Moreover, when you visit the surgery, their customer service is shockingly poor. This is undoubtedly the most incompetent medical practice in Liverpool. I've been religiously calling at 8am sharp since late December, and still, no appointment has been offered. Is this level of service acceptable to anyone?

Frustrating service with zero customer convenience

Scheduling an appointment is frustratingly limited here. You're restricted to booking only on the day itself starting at 8 AM, and even then, you'll likely spend ages on hold. After waiting 30 minutes to speak with someone, you'll be informed that all slots are already taken, forcing you to repeat this entire tedious process the next day.

Terrible service and unprofessional staff at reception

I stopped by today and was left waiting for quarter of an hour at the reception, despite hearing staff in the adjacent room. I attempted to use the bell, but it was non-functional, which forced me to leave in complete frustration with their poor service. Upon returning home, I tried calling the practice. Considering there was barely anyone in the waiting area, I held on for half an hour before giving up. The staff were apparently too preoccupied with socializing to answer the phone. These employees are anything but caring - absolutely terrible customer service!!! 😠😠

Frustrating prescription service fails me again

Prescription refills are a complete headache every single time I submit a request. Without fail, something is always overlooked or incomplete. Today, I specifically handed in a written request and explicitly told the receptionist to include blood testing strips since our supply was depleted. Predictably, those strips were the sole item not processed. To make matters worse, I requested two packs, but they only provided a single pack, which is insufficient to cover an entire month's needs.

She skillfully addressed our inquiries and concerns, showing exceptional understanding while guiding my parents through the communication process. While scheduling an appointment can be challenging, the extended wait times are completely justifiable given the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting backlog.

Terrible healthcare service wasting taxpayer money

Health Secretary, I implore you to shut down this facility, which employs around 100 staff members funded by taxpayer money. Yet, they provide absolutely no meaningful service or genuine concern. Their appointment system is laughably limited, offering only flu shot bookings. This establishment is a total embarrassment!! I'm prepared to escalate this by contacting my local member of parliament and the Health Secretary if necessary!

Terrible service and impossible appointment booking

Complete disaster from the start! Called at 8am and was number 29 in the queue. Couldn't hold on because I needed to take my son to school, so I had my mum ring instead. She was told no appointments were available and to call back at 8am. When I called later, they suggested my mum should wake up earlier or I should visit reception - how is that possible when I live near Huyton village and have to get my son to school by 8:40am? I rarely request appointments, and when I do, I can't secure one! This service is so bad, I'd give it less than a single star if I could!!

Worst product ever, complete waste of money

This place is absolutely mind-blowing, and not in a good way. From the moment I walked in, everything felt off. The service was appalling, the staff seemed completely disinterested, and the overall atmosphere was just uncomfortable. I've never experienced such a poorly managed establishment before. The entire experience left me stunned and genuinely disappointed. I cannot recommend this place to anyone, and I'm still in disbelief at how bad everything was. Truly shocking from start to finish.

Misleading medical advice left me confused and frustrated

I'm giving this low rating because I was misled about the potential legal consequences of a doctor prescribing Pregabalin 150mg twice daily, especially considering I'm also on 30ml methadone and 7.5mg zopiclone nightly. Other physicians at Wilson Road clinic and the prescribing doctor saw no issue with my medication regimen until my home was burglarized. The police categorized it as a petty theft, and now I'm forced to endure weekly appointments to obtain the same medications, adding insult to injury.

Terrible service from worst medical practice ever

Absolute nightmare of a medical practice! I've been battling a persistent cough for five weeks, and their communication is abysmal. Two weeks ago, I reported my ongoing cough and breathing difficulties, and they instructed me to complete an e-consult form, promising a callback during out-of-hours time for those with scheduling conflicts. Guess what? No call came through. When they finally rang, it was during work hours when I couldn't answer. Their scheduling is incredibly inflexible - they won't accommodate alternative contact times, essentially forcing patients to take time off work just to speak with a healthcare professional. I pleaded for more flexible communication options, but they rigidly insisted on their e-consult process or early morning phone calls, which are impossible for working individuals. As someone prone to chest infections since pneumonia two years ago, my condition is serious - my coughing is so intense it risks breaking ribs, and I'm experiencing significant back pain. To make matters worse, I'm experiencing social anxiety due to people's reactions, assuming I have COVID, despite repeatedly testing negative. Five weeks have passed, and I'm still without proper medical attention. In desperation, I contacted NHS 111, who prescribed antibiotics, but even those haven't resolved my condition. Stay far away from this practice - they're completely useless!

Terrible healthcare experience, completely unable to secure a consultation with a general practitioner, even with a serious neurological condition. Spent more than seven days attempting to schedule a phone consultation by calling daily, only to be told I'm being redirected to a neurology department. The staff showed zero empathy or understanding. As a result, I've now transferred my medical registration to a different practice.

Terrible customer service and communication disaster

I completed an e-consultation on Friday and called them the following Thursday since I'd received no response after nearly a week. I spent 27 minutes on the phone, only to be informed that the doctor had supposedly called me while I was speaking with them, so they claimed there was nothing they could do. I would need to submit another e-consultation. This whole experience is absolutely ridiculous.

Frustrating healthcare experience with unresponsive surgery

My doctor sent me to the hospital for medical investigation. While the test results fortunately came back clear, I still need a follow-up appointment and was instructed to complete an E-consult again, despite having already done so previously. After repeating the E-consult, I was directed to call 111 or contact the surgery. I phoned the surgery at 6:15 PM and was tenth in the queue. By 6:30 PM, I had moved to sixth in line. For another thirty minutes, I remained at sixth position before they closed. I spent 45 minutes on hold without speaking to a single staff member. I have never encountered a more disorganized medical practice and healthcare system for accessing a doctor. I've completely lost confidence in their services, and I cannot comprehend how they are permitted to continue operating as a medical surgery. I'm only giving one star because the rating system requires a minimum rating.

Camel saves desert trip with unexpected veterinary care

What an exceptional veterinary practice! Prior to my Sahara expedition last May, my camel Bessy was experiencing significant health complications. Despite typically treating human patients, the medical staff graciously performed surgery to extract two massive cysts from her. As a result, Bessy has fully recovered, though her post-surgical appearance now sometimes leads people to confuse her with a horse. Tremendous kudos to the entire team! Extra special appreciation goes to the delightful reception staff who were so supportive 💞💞💞💞💞
