Patient Experience Summary

Feedback across this file reveals significant challenges with appointment access and booking systems. Patients consistently report difficulties securing consultations, with many describing lengthy waits on hold, same-day-only booking restrictions, and frequent unavailability of slots. Communication failures emerge as a recurring concern, including delayed responses to e-consultations, missed callbacks, and poor responsiveness from reception staff. Prescription handling also presents ongoing issues, with reports of delays, misplaced orders, and incomplete processing.

While some patients praise individual staff members for courtesy and supportive care, broader organisational problems dominate the feedback. Reception experience varies considerably, with some describing helpful and professional staff alongside others reporting dismissive or discourteous interactions. Several patients note that continuity of care has suffered, with difficulty identifying assigned doctors and frequent redirects to walk-in centres rather than GP appointments.

A smaller number of reviews highlight positive experiences with attentive medical professionals and improved reception helpfulness, though these are substantially outweighed by accounts of systemic access difficulties and organisational failures affecting patient confidence in the service.

Incompetent care destroyed my health and privacy

If I could award negative ratings, I would. For six years, they completely missed my medical condition. This resulted in excruciating, debilitating pain. When finally correctly diagnosed, the issue was resolved with basic anti-inflammatory medication. As if that wasn't bad enough, they illegally disclosed my confidential medical information without my explicit permission - a fact I have documented proof of. An utter disaster from start to finish. Steer clear of this healthcare provider under any circumstances.

Worst medical experience ever terrible healthcare nightmare

Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. The receptionist was incredibly disrespectful, and the physician not only prescribed an incorrect medication but also spoke to me in a condescending manner during our call. This medical practice is so incompetent that it should be permanently closed.

I informed the receptionist about sending over the necessary DVLA documentation as requested, emphasizing the urgency of my situation. She assured me I would receive a response promptly. However, a full week has passed, and I'm still waiting without any communication.

Terrible healthcare experience left me feeling hopeless

This is undoubtedly the most abysmal medical practice in Liverpool. I submitted an urgent request for a doctor to contact me regarding my mental health, explaining that I was contemplating suicide and self-harm. Instead of providing support, they dismissed my concerns, claiming I was being unreasonable for expressing suicidal thoughts. They handed me a phone number and suggested I switch healthcare providers if I was dissatisfied with their callous response, which I have since done.

Compassionate doctor who healed my family's health concerns

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Harry Singh for his exceptional care of my family, particularly my mother who was struggling with type 2 diabetes. Thanks to his expert treatment, her condition is now well-managed. Additionally, my 18-month-old daughter was experiencing constipation, and Dr. Singh provided her with excellent medical attention. Kudos to the wonderful team at Connoware Clinic...

Terrible healthcare with zero patient care or compassion

I've encountered the most incompetent medical professionals imaginable at this practice. The front desk personnel are discourteous and completely ineffective. They claim email inquiries will be promptly addressed, yet nothing ever materializes, leaving vulnerable patients without essential medications. The reception staff appear indifferent to these serious lapses, treating patient concerns with shocking nonchalance. Attempts to file formal complaints are met with total silence and disregard. From my perspective, this medical practice has steadily deteriorated in quality and competence. They desperately need to conduct a comprehensive review of their systemic failures and implement radical improvements.

Dangerous negligence at local medical practice

This medical practice is absolutely abysmal in the Northwest region. They recklessly prescribed me the combined contraceptive pill without conducting any basic health screenings like measuring my BMI, checking my blood pressure, or reviewing my family medical background. As a result, I unknowingly took a medication for five months that carried a significant risk of causing a potentially fatal blood clot. I only discovered the dangerous oversight after independently consulting the UK MECC guidelines. Their medical negligence is shocking! Furthermore, trying to secure a GP appointment, whether for an urgent same-day consultation or a future slot, is virtually impossible - you'd have better luck whistling for one!

Terrible clinic with zero patient care or support

this medical practice is utterly unprofessional. they consistently lack contact methods to reach the general practitioner and constantly redirect patients to the walk-in center, which is completely unacceptable. the walk-in center is not a substitute for a proper GP, yet I'm repeatedly sent there against my wishes. out of every ten attempts to get an appointment, I've only managed to secure 2 or 3. I absolutely cannot recommend this clinic. my family and I are definitively switching healthcare providers.

Incompetent gp surgery fails patient confidentiality test

I've decided to leave this general practice due to ongoing problems. During my appointment for a persistent issue, the doctor handed me a blood test form. As I was heading back to work, I received a call revealing that he had mistakenly given me another patient's blood form instead of my own! This breach of confidentiality is unacceptable. When I went for my blood tests, attempting to schedule a follow-up to discuss results became a two-week ordeal. If I want to see the same GP, I'm expected to call back repeatedly. I work full-time and cannot constantly contact the surgery to chase my test results. The Clinical Commissioning Group needs to urgently address the issues at this practice, not just regarding this incident, but also the numerous complaints and evident lack of care from both staff and GPs.

Terrible primary care with long waits and dismissive doctors

Scheduling a doctor's visit means waiting at least two weeks, forcing patients to seek care at walk-in clinics or emergency rooms. During my recent appointment to discuss vitamin D supplementation for my young children, the general practitioner seemed dismissive, questioning the source of my concern and refusing to prescribe anything. He appeared irritated by my son's crying and was visibly eager to end our consultation as rapidly as possible. Consistently, my experiences with this medical practice have left me feeling that the doctors are disinterested in providing genuine patient care, treating appointments as mere inconveniences to be dispatched with minimal effort.

Terrible mental health care that completely fails patients

This medical practice is utterly ridiculous. When seeking an urgent consultation for critical mental health concerns like severe anxiety and depression, their responses feel completely robotic and formulaic. Their so-called "emergency" service is a complete farce, offering me nothing more than a distant appointment a week from now. What's the purpose of claiming to provide same-day appointments when the earliest slot is always a week away? This isn't an isolated incident - it happens consistently, making their service seem completely ineffective and uncaring.

Dangerous negligence nearly cost me my life

Impossible to secure appointments or obtain antibiotic prescriptions via telephone for kidney issues. Despite not having a kidney infection, I underwent extensive surgery and nearly lost my life. Even afterward, I couldn't schedule a follow-up appointment, despite being instructed to receive a referral letter. The doctor's incompetence is grounds for medical license revocation, and the entire reception staff should be terminated. There isn't a single redeeming quality in how this medical practice operates - they are completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, the reception staff brazenly discuss patients while they are sitting right in the waiting area.

Terrible service and unhelpful medical staff nightmare

I have absolutely zero confidence in this medical practice, and it's undoubtedly the most disappointing healthcare facility I've encountered. During previous visits, the waiting areas are packed, and I frequently observe visibly frustrated patients, which speaks volumes about their service! We've been attempting to secure a GP appointment for today, after wasting countless hours in the emergency room yesterday. The surgery's receptionist recommended we visit Knowsley walk-in clinic or wait until tomorrow to complete an online assessment before 1:00 PM (presumably to guarantee an immediate appointment). After consulting with a surprisingly helpful receptionist at the walk-in centre, we discovered they only have nurses, not doctors. She directed us to call 111. Surprisingly, this number connects you with a physician within 20 minutes, who then arranged for Cornerways surgery to contact us promptly. Eventually, we were connected with Nutgrove surgery, who ultimately provided us an evening appointment. We are genuinely grateful to Nutgrove surgery and now understand the valuable resource of dialing 111. I strongly believe the Cornerways management requires serious scrutiny, as the reviews for this practice are absolutely abysmal! Their customer service is completely unacceptable!
