Outdated web platform and digital scheduling interface from the 90s era. Phone wait times are completely intolerable. After more than two decades, their service quality has deteriorated so dramatically that I'm ultimately switching medical practices.

Frustrating medical visit with poor patient care

This reflects my recent visit. The appointment was significantly delayed, with no communication provided, and I ultimately saw a nurse without any explanation. Despite this, I remained patient, understanding the pressures healthcare professionals face. However, the service was extremely poor and not worth the visit. My mother came to discuss her health concerns, but was quickly dismissed and told to schedule another appointment, with minimal interest in addressing her needs or asking if she required additional assistance. I also overheard staff members discussing negative reviews and expressing disagreement with them. I believe the practice needs to seriously consider feedback and take responsibility instead of deflecting blame. Instructing patients to reschedule and waste their time, potentially preventing others from receiving necessary care, is not an appropriate approach. I've requested a call from the practice manager, who is apparently going on holiday. I'll wait and see if she actually addresses my feedback or simply tries to sweep it under the rug.

Overwhelmed medical center needs urgent attention now

The medical professionals and administrative team are supportive, however, the practice is overwhelmed, and with upcoming housing developments in Cherry Hinton/Fulbourn, the strain will only intensify. Waiting two weeks for a phone consultation that ultimately goes unmet is completely unacceptable. There's an urgent need for either additional medical facilities or a halt to new housing construction. The local council must prioritize healthcare infrastructure and stop prioritizing financial gains. The dental services are equally problematic. Overall, I am thoroughly dissatisfied.

Terrible receptionist ruined my healthcare experience

I encountered absolutely unacceptable treatment from a specific receptionist who demonstrated complete unprofessionalism. She consistently fabricated excuses and showed zero commitment to assisting me with my post-surgical healthcare requirements. Despite submitting a detailed letter from the hospital regarding my recent hip operation - which was sent both electronically and physically - she brazenly claimed no documentation existed. Her deliberate interference with my healthcare process was appalling. Furthermore, she instructed me to collect a prescription, forcing me to arrange transportation given my limited mobility after surgery. Upon arrival, another receptionist casually informed me no prescription was available. When confronted about the previous instruction, she merely shrugged off her error with a dismissive "Oh, I made a mistake" - offering no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. The sheer number of similar incidents with this individual is beyond frustrating. However, I must acknowledge that despite this receptionist's conduct, several healthcare practitioners provided compassionate and effective care during my treatment.

While I'd prefer in-person doctor consultations, given we're still navigating the COVID landscape, I appreciate the callback system that prevents unnecessary face-to-face appointments from being taken by those with minor ailments, ensuring those with more critical needs can be seen. Terrible healthcare service that left me frustrated

I decided to switch medical practices when relocating, hoping for an improvement from my previous clinic across town—but I couldn't have been more wrong! The level of service here is absolutely abysmal. Attempting to contact them by telephone is an exercise in pure frustration. I was initially placed in a queue at position eight, and after waiting around thirty minutes, I finally reached position one. When the receptionist eventually picked up, they claimed they couldn't hear me due to poor connection, and then the call suddenly disconnected. The entire experience was utterly unacceptable and incredibly aggravating.

I went to this medical center for my Covid vaccination. The facility strictly followed Covid safety protocols throughout the process. The queuing system was impressively structured, with dedicated parking for those with disabilities and special seating available. Helpful volunteers managed the line, ensuring smooth movement. The spacious surgery had well-coordinated staff who meticulously verified personal information before administering the vaccine with precision. After vaccination, patients exited through a separate exit. Having received both of my vaccine doses, I can confidently say it was a positive experience. I strongly encourage everyone to get their vaccination without any reservations.

Worst medical care ever disappointing and unprofessional

At this point: EXTREMELY UNSATISFACTORY This medical practice has definitely declined: Our local pharmacy continuously struggles to obtain the prescription medications crucial for managing my cholesterol and triglyceride levels, as well as my wife's critical anti-cancer treatment. While the process worked smoothly initially, the past nine months have been a complete breakdown. Pharmacy staff report that the surgery consistently ignores their repeated medication requests, and upon visiting the clinic, we discovered they cannot even update their records to incorporate recommendations from Addenbrook hospital. To make matters worse, the receptionist displayed a total lack of professionalism, offering no acknowledgment or apology for these significant failures. Bottom line: anyone seeking a new general practitioner should absolutely avoid this practice.

Caring doctors but receptionists need serious attitude adjustment

I cannot fault the Doctors and Nurses themselves. They are amazing and supportive. They listen to your problems and never ever leave you in pain or struggle. There is also 1 gentleman on reception who is kind and caring as well. Unfortunately that is the only positive thing about the surgery. The receptionist!! It seems all of the ladies are incredibly discourteous!! When you phone the doctors for an appointment, they are the first people you speak to, and they are meant to be kind and welcoming.... not at this surgery!! They are not polite, they are rude, they interrupt you while you're talking. Ladies... you are our first point of contact, without you we cannot book an appointment. Us patients rely on you, please please please do not treat us patients like we are worthless!!! And you wonder why patients become aggressive towards you?? It's because you don't show any support to your patients We all understand you have worked as hard as doctors in this terrible time but is it right to treat us like we are insignificant ?? Just because we are key workers?? Remember some of us are!! It's not just you!! Plus you don't know who is on the other end of that phone. This person might have a serious illness or mental health issues. And by speaking to them in such a way, you could trigger a serious reaction. This could end up in so many different ways or end badly.... all because you cannot be kind, polite, supportive and understanding. Please ladies help us and we will help you
