Feedback reveals persistent challenges with appointment access and booking systems, with patients reporting lengthy waits of several weeks and difficulties reaching the practice by phone. The e-consultation platform receives mixed feedback, with some patients experiencing delays in responses or technical failures, whilst others found the service efficient. Communication gaps emerge as a significant concern, including missed callbacks, cancelled appointments without notice, and limited responsiveness from reception staff. However, several positive experiences highlight courteous reception staff, supportive nursing care, and compassionate medical professionals who provide prompt prescription services. Patients consistently praise specific team members for their warmth and dedication, particularly noting efficient e-consultation processes when functioning well. The overall picture reflects a practice where access barriers and communication inconsistencies create frustration, yet individual staff members and certain service pathways demonstrate genuine commitment to patient care.
Reception experience presents the most polarised feedback, with some patients describing staff as welcoming and helpful, whilst others report rudeness, dismissiveness, and lack of courtesy. Waiting times for appointments and phone responses remain a dominant concern, with patients describing the booking process as unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming. Several reviews indicate that face-to-face consultations are difficult to obtain without first completing e-consultations or phone appointments, creating additional delays in accessing care.
Positive feedback emphasises the quality of clinical care from nursing staff and certain doctors, with patients noting compassionate treatment and effective prescription services. The practice appears to perform better with specific service types such as vaccinations and procedures, where patients report efficient scheduling and minimal waiting times. Continuity of care concerns are raised by some patients, particularly regarding temporary staffing arrangements and the impact on understanding individual medical histories.

Terrible Service at Crayford Town Surgery
Getting an appointment at Crayford town surgery remains impossible, and that's the reality with their doctors and staff. Massive vehicles occupy the parking lot, with medical personnel seemingly more numerous than patients. The front desk service is appalling, demonstrating zero professional skills and terrible communication. The NHS desperately needs to investigate this facility. I wish there were negative stars to rate them - this surgery deserves complete shutdown. I'm actively searching for online channels to expose this horrible medical practice that's clearly profiting at patients' expense. Staff just wander around pretending to be busy, constantly on their phones. This exemplifies how the NHS is heading towards financial ruin through such negligent practices. Essentially, their attitude suggests they couldn't care less if patients suffer or die, as long as they're collecting their paycheck. Absolutely disgraceful healthcare management.

Wasted Hours on Useless Phone Support
Called their helpline 5 times over the past 5 years, and every single interaction was completely unhelpful. The phone support involves endless waiting, with a high probability of missing the call, and then they insist on an in-person appointment scheduled days in advance. Ultimately, visiting the urgent care center in Sidcup is far more straightforward and efficient.

Frustrating Morning at the Medical Practice
I'm absolutely furious after calling the practice early in the morning, only to be placed on hold multiple times and then told to complete an e-consult instead of addressing my urgent need for a same-day emergency appointment. As a receptionist myself, I know there are better ways to handle patient inquiries. They didn't even bother to ask about the reason for my call or show any genuine concern. Simply putting me off with an e-consult when I can't wait two days for a response or two weeks for an appointment is unacceptable. The receptionist's lack of empathy and customer service is appalling. Congratulations on demonstrating such remarkable indifference to patient needs.

Booking Nightmare at This Unresponsive Surgery
Absolutely dreadful medical practice with constant availability issues. The phone lines are perpetually unavailable, and I was warned beforehand not to register here - advice I foolishly ignored. This is undoubtedly the most incompetent healthcare provider I've encountered. Attempting to book an appointment via phone repeatedly resulted in being instructed to use E consult at the crack of dawn, but even that system fails consistently, repeatedly telling me to try again the next day. Each time I contacted the surgery about these problems, their response was utterly unhelpful, simply suggesting I keep attempting to book. If you're registered with this practice, you'll inevitably end up spending more time in emergency services or calling medical helplines than receiving actual care. My strongest recommendation is to avoid this surgery completely.

Awesome care since 2020
Welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive staff across all roles - from the front desk to medical professionals. I appreciate the dedicated team's commitment to patient care. I've been a patient here since 2020, and the quality of service remains consistently excellent.

Dangerous delays and false medical communication
This medical practice is utterly unprofessional and verging on medical negligence. I've undergone multiple blood tests and have been constantly pursuing my results. I was assured that any issues would prompt direct GP contact. I've been waiting, yet no communication has occurred. After downloading the NHS app, I discovered my test results independently. These results were abnormal, with a note indicating "A & G" (advice and guidance) via telephone consultation. This never transpired. The information provided is completely misleading. When submitting e-consultations, I'm either met with total silence or offered an appointment with an absurdly short notice period that makes attendance logistically impossible. My repeat prescriptions are repeatedly rejected, with staff claiming I have sufficient medication supply, despite their records being inaccurate and inconsistent with the chemist's documentation - ultimately leaving me without essential medication. The receptionists behave as though they're medical professionals, displaying an utterly contemptible attitude. This is unquestionably the worst surgery I've ever had the misfortune of being registered with. My entire family is actively seeking alternative healthcare providers because we want to safeguard our health, not jeopardize it.

Waited 3 Hours, Zero Help from Surgery
The level of incompetence here is mind-boggling! I wasted 3 hours today waiting on hold with absolutely zero response! I desperately needed a downloadable sick note since I'm too ill to visit the surgery in person, but nobody bothered to send anything! Complete radio silence! My previous experience was equally frustrating - it took half a year just to secure one single appointment. Unless you're prepared to jump online precisely at 7am to submit an econsult form, getting an appointment is practically impossible. The reception staff are astonishingly unprofessional - their attitude is incredibly rude, dripping with condescension and passive-aggressive behavior. I've never encountered such abysmal customer service in my entire life!

Crayford Surgery Botched My Baby's Blood Test
My infant was recently diagnosed with low iron levels and prescribed iron supplements, with a follow-up blood test scheduled after four weeks. To my absolute frustration, the medical staff completely bungled the test, collecting samples for unrelated examinations instead of the crucial iron level check. I'm thoroughly disappointed with their incompetence, as this means my one-year-old child will now have to endure another blood draw. The unnecessary additional stress and pain for my baby is unacceptable. Crayford town surgery should be ashamed of such careless and unprofessional conduct.

Frustrating wait for MRI after joint pain diagnosis
I've been a patient at this medical practice since childhood, and the quality of care continues to deteriorate. A doctor here diagnosed me with joint pain but only arranged an ultrasound for muscles. When I attempted to change this to an MRI, it seemed like an impossible request. They insist I need a referral from a physiotherapist or specialist, but if the doctor isn't a clinical specialist, what is his role? Why diagnose me with joint pain and then only provide a muscle scan, refusing to upgrade to an MRI? The system is completely unacceptable. I can't even lift my 3-year-old child, and they keep delaying my treatment. How can I recover and properly rehabilitate without an MRI to understand my condition? This practice desperately needs a complete overhaul. Moreover, phone communication is abysmal. On a good day, you'll wait 30 minutes just to have a call answered. I explicitly asked the receptionist to call back if my signal dropped - no callback occurred. Twice in the past week, I was promised a doctor would contact me, yet no call, missed call, or voicemail materialized. How serious does my situation need to be for them to take notice? What must I do to receive fair treatment? THEIR OWN DOCTOR DIAGNOSED ME WITH A BACK JOINT SPRAIN, SO WHY ON EARTH DO I NOW NEED A REFERRAL FROM ELSEWHERE FOR AN MRI? Recent update: Promised a doctor's call again - nothing. No callback, no missed call. This is pure neglect. I'm struggling with a serious back injury, and their solution is to prescribe addictive opioid pills to pacify me. I am absolutely disgusted by this treatment.

Terrible GP Surgery, Impossible to See a Doctor
I'd rate this place lower than zero if I could. This might just be the most terrible medical practice I've encountered. Getting an appointment is practically impossible, and their online consultation system is completely useless - the doctors simply dismiss your concerns. My strongest recommendation is to steer clear of registering with this surgery!

Impossible to Book an Appointment Online
Scheduling a consultation here is utterly ridiculous. I was instructed to book appointments exclusively through their online system. When I attempted to access the webpage at the specified time, I was repeatedly greeted with a message telling me to try again the next day. This frustrating cycle has been ongoing for days. The front desk staff are completely unhelpful, offering nothing more than a dismissive "sorry" and suggesting I continue attempting to book. It's no surprise that patients might be missing critical diagnoses due to this absurd booking process.

Rude Receptionists and Endless Waiting Times
This medical practice is hands down the most frustrating experience I've ever encountered. The reception staff are completely unprofessional, consistently displaying rudeness and passive-aggressive behavior. When doctors promise to follow up on test results, they invariably fail to do so, forcing patients to make countless calls and repeatedly explain their situation to dismissive receptionists, who then inform you that an appointment is virtually impossible to obtain. The practice is staffed predominantly by temporary locum doctors, ensuring that no continuity of care exists and no physician truly understands a patient's medical history. Since the pandemic, the quality of service has deteriorated dramatically. Despite an empty waiting room, appointments consistently run 30 minutes behind schedule - and often even longer. It's infuriating to pay substantial taxes for such abysmal healthcare. To the reception staff: if you're this unhappy in your role, do everyone a favor and find alternative employment!!!

Cancelled Twice and Counting
Why isn't there an option to give zero stars?? I've had two scheduling attempts, both initiated by their staff, only to have them abruptly canceled the day before due to employee no-shows. At this rate, I might eventually secure an appointment, but it could very well be too late by then. After contributing to this system for so long, I'll likely be forced to seek private care. Utterly unprofessional and unacceptable service.

Pharmacy Delay Left Us Frustrated at 6:30 pm
The healthcare systems are extremely inadequate, with numerous unaddressed feedback leading to persistent issues. Despite understanding NHS challenges, the administrative team could implement small improvements to enhance patient experience. I was seen at 8am by a physician assistant, not a doctor, without proper disclosure. The PA claimed a prescription was sent to the pharmacy at 6:30pm, yet remains unprocessed - this is unacceptable. My young son's skin condition is deteriorating, potentially requiring private treatment. Accessing face-to-face consultations seems impossible. My four-year-old is now anxious about potential social implications of his condition. We're still awaiting resolution. New medical staff and partnerships have brought no meaningful change. The patient participation group appears ineffective, with patients lacking genuine input. Many potential improvements remain unexplored. The practice feels disconnected and impersonal. While I hesitate to be overly critical, I feel compelled to share these concerns for future patients. This approach seems the best they can manage, but it certainly falls short of patient needs.

Easy to Reach and Helpful GP Practice
I've been thoroughly satisfied with this medical practice so far. The front desk staff have been courteous during our interactions, which stands in stark contrast to another clinic in the area. Getting in touch with the general practitioners here has been straightforward and convenient. I appreciate that they proactively reach out to me about reviewing my ongoing medication prescriptions, which I find incredibly helpful.
