From the moment I entered, I was greeted with exceptional service. The reception staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. A special mention to Lara, who was absolutely delightful and went above and beyond with her warm demeanor. I was swiftly seen by my physician and had my blood drawn promptly by Carol, who was incredibly skilled. Despite my intense fear of needles, she made the process completely painless and seamless. These wonderful professionals transformed what could have been a stressful visit into a truly pleasant experience.

Frustrating healthcare with unhelpful and disorganized staff

Scheduling an appointment through their phone system is incredibly challenging, with excessively long wait times to even reach reception. Their online consultation process is equally frustrating, as they merely offer a random doctor's call at an unpredictable time. Despite explicitly requesting an afternoon consultation after 4 pm, they consistently call at inconvenient times like midday. The reception staff's incompetence is truly appalling. In a recent incident, I encountered four different excuses over four separate days, with each interaction introducing new paperwork requirements just to access my 12-year-old child's food allergy blood test results. The overall service quality is abysmal, and I cannot recommend this general practice to anyone.

Terrible communication

While this practice does have some excellent doctors and other practitioners it is let down by its clinical leads and reception team. Messages are garbled, or not passed on at all, investigation is lacking, and problems are dismissed. Dr Phillips, in particular, is outright dangerous, and I would advise anyone to refuse any appointment with him as he does not consider contraindications when prescribing medication, even when life-threatening.

Negligent care puts patient health at serious risk

Appalling medical practice with reckless communication and dangerous medical advice. The clinic irresponsibly suggested a potential cancer diagnosis without substantial evidence. They also instructed a patient to discontinue critical blood pressure medication based on unsubstantiated side effect concerns not mentioned in official drug documentation, and without establishing any monitoring protocol. Moreover, one of the physicians appeared incapable of properly interpreting an X-ray, demonstrating a shocking lack of professional competence.

The reception team is welcoming and warm, and the physicians are outstanding. Every interaction has consistently provided me with top-tier care and unwavering support.

Terrible customer service that left us frustrated

The service was utterly appalling. My wife got a text about her Saturday afternoon appointment, followed by a confirmation text on Friday. When Saturday arrived and they called, she returned the call, only to be treated with complete disrespect by an incredibly rude receptionist who spoke to her in a demeaning manner. The receptionist stubbornly argued it was a phone consultation, flatly refusing to acknowledge the two previous text messages about an in-person afternoon appointment. They coldly instructed her to contact our own medical practice on Monday. The receptionist's behavior was absolutely unacceptable, and we will definitely be reporting this terrible experience to our surgery.

Although my appointment ran behind schedule, I found myself appreciating the reception team's compassionate, composed, and professional demeanor while they skillfully managed diverse patient interactions and complex inquiries. Having firsthand experience working within the NHS and regularly engaging with various GP practices, I can confidently say that the standard of care here far surpasses what I typically encounter. I'm attempting to obtain medical documentation for my elderly mother, who recently underwent surgery, after promptly completing the necessary paperwork. Initially, I was assured processing would occur the following day. However, after a 10-day delay, I'm now informed that additional documentation is required, including my mother's signature and identification, with a total processing time of 28 days. I'm uncertain whether this represents a training deficiency or simply an overwhelmed system, but it clearly demonstrates significant communication and procedural shortcomings. When I questioned the extended timeline, the representative became defensive and unprofessionally suggested that I should work there to understand their workload, which struck me as a completely inappropriate and unhelpful response. The entire experience has been frustrating and lacks the customer service one would expect in handling sensitive medical information.
