Terrible healthcare service leaving patients in despair
I'm suffering from an illness and have been unable to secure a consultation with my primary care physician at the local practice for more than half a decade. What exactly are my national insurance contributions funding? This situation is absolutely unacceptable. The receptionist displays a dismissive and unhelpful demeanor, showing complete indifference to my health concerns. For all they know, I could be critically ill. The appointment booking system is completely non-functional, leaving patients like myself with no viable means of accessing medical care.

Terrible service for elderly patients needs improvement
Regrettably, this medical practice serves my elderly mother, and I've received text messages requesting I schedule her medical tests! What might have been humorous is decidedly not. The problematic phone system other patients have complained about is absolutely accurate, and the fact that the general practitioner has failed to make scheduled calls twice in recent weeks is inexcusable. Their level of professionalism is utterly lacking. Whenever I've observed the interior, it's virtually deserted, with barely three or four individuals present, and I can only characterize the entire operation as completely disorganized and chaotic.

Frustrating healthcare nightmare at croft medical centre
Croft Medical Centre - what can I say? After attempting to book an appointment at 08:00 for five consecutive days, being told their 'trained staff' would handle my call 'efficiently', only to be informed that no slots remain or the call list is 'full' with no alternative options, there's not much positive to report. When you're sitting in the Accident and Emergency Department wondering why you're waiting for hours because of 'patients who should have seen their GP', Croft Medical Centre exemplifies exactly why those patients end up in the hospital. Their booking system appears deliberately designed to frustrate patients, not assist them. It's clear they're overwhelmed by patient numbers, but rather than addressing the root issue, they've created a rigid system that forces patients to waste time in pointless attempts to communicate with (not actually meet) a GP. On the marginally bright side, I received an apology each time, which I dutifully passed on to my mother, who is dealing with the health issue, and she has fortunately recovered. Yes, I'm being entirely sarcastic. Update - on day five, I finally got through, only to discover once again that no appointments are available. They surely deserve an award for consistently maintaining this level of inefficiency.

Terrible medical centre with endless phone frustration
The medical centre's reception is absolutely terrible. They consistently block phone lines from 8 to 9 in the morning, and when they finally choose to answer, you're instructed to call back the next day to schedule an appointment. This frustrating scenario has been ongoing since Monday, continuing through Tuesday, Wednesday, and now Thursday, with staff repeatedly telling me to try calling again tomorrow.

Nightmare reception destroying patient healthcare experience
If I could award zero stars, I absolutely would. The front desk personnel are incredibly discourteous! They constantly respond with 'sorry, no slots available, please ring back tomorrow at 8am' - and when I dutifully call at 8am and wait in a lengthy queue, I'm met with the identical dismissive response! The situation is so dire that I believe this medical practice deserves regulatory intervention and potential shutdown. The reception team desperately requires comprehensive training in basic customer interaction and interpersonal communication! While the clinical staff remain consistently pleasant, I've been effectively prevented from seeing a physician for half a decade due to the appointment booking nightmare. I'm reduced to internet-based self-diagnosis and over-the-counter medication management. I cannot overemphasize how abysmal their customer service truly is. URGENT REQUEST: Invest in proper customer service training and fundamental human interaction skills for your front desk staff.

Friendly and efficient medical care every time
I've consulted with the general practitioner twice, once in 2020 and again this morning. Both times, I received excellent care. Earlier today, I encountered a busy phone line and requested a callback. Within 25 minutes, I was contacted, and the staff were incredibly supportive, offering helpful advice and scheduling assistance. Fortunately, I managed to secure a same-day appointment at a nearby medical practice. I sincerely hope everyone maintains good health.

Utterly appalling how patients are handled at this medical practice. Following my stroke last year, obtaining my prescribed medication was an initial challenge. When I sought medical advice, the receptionist's dismissive response was to monitor my own health and resort to the emergency department if my symptoms escalated - completely unacceptable and deeply concerning 😠😡😡😡

I called today inquiring about my prescription's delay, and the staff member claimed there was no record of it. I requested they expedite it, as they've done previously, but was dismissed. They informed me my arthritis pain medication isn't considered critical and suggested I submit an email for a repeat prescription, which would take four days. The entire interaction was extremely frustrating and unhelpful.

Getting an appointment here is a nightmare. They instruct you to call at 8am, and after wasting nearly an hour on hold, you're informed there are no slots available. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PROCEDURE. You'll be left waiting on the phone for more than 60 minutes, and even when you finally get through, there are zero appointment slots open. The front desk staff consistently advise calling at 8:00 AM (total waste of time), as you'll just hear the same unhelpful response. 😡😡😡😡😡
