I consistently have an excellent experience at this medical facility. While I regrettably require surgery with some frequency, the entire medical team demonstrates exceptional skill, professionalism, and genuine dedication to patient care. I've now adapted to their updated digital scheduling platform and trust it's streamlining administrative processes for their hardworking staff. Special recognition to the admin team as well - they remain consistently supportive and accommodating.

Improved booking but still a morning madness

The updated electronic booking system is a significant upgrade (though you still need to be lightning-quick at 8am, or you'll miss out on the day's appointments). I'm now giving more stars due to this improvement. The medical staff remains excellent, and the male receptionist is simply fantastic! Getting an appointment here is an exercise in frustration. The doctors themselves are pleasant enough if you can actually see them, but the booking process is incredibly challenging. You must call precisely at 8am - not a second later - or you'll spend 30-40 minutes in a queue, only to be told no appointments are available. While their recorded message suggests calling at 8am is only for same-day appointments, in reality, it's the only way to schedule anything, including future visits or referrals. To make matters worse, their e-consult system is perpetually malfunctioning. It genuinely seems like they're designing the process to discourage patients from seeking medical care.

Navigating the GP appointment request form felt slightly intimidating initially, but the process was remarkably straightforward once completed. A staff member reached out to me within 30 minutes and scheduled my consultation for 1040. Dr Newth maintained her usual high standard of professionalism and warmth. She was accompanied by two medical students, whom she allowed me to interact with during the consultation. Although I primarily needed an over-the-counter remedy, she proactively took swabs and recommended a blood test, which conveniently aligns with an upcoming test for another unrelated health matter. The entire experience was impressively seamless, efficient, and thorough.
