Polite reception staff make the difference here

The reception team here are consistently courteous and professional, among the friendliest I've encountered at any medical practice. I've had positive experiences with all the clinical staff throughout my time as a patient. Booking appointments can occasionally be challenging, though calling early in the day tends to improve availability. I would happily suggest this surgery to others.

Friendly receptionists and helpful waiting room information

I have always found it straightforward to book appointments by telephone and the reception team have been courteous and welcoming. The clinical staff do vary in quality, as is often the case, though there are certainly some particularly skilled practitioners. The waiting area provides plenty of useful information displayed on screens.

Phone lines hard to get through on

POOR EXPERIENCE WITH APPOINTMENT BOOKING I have visited on several occasions, and each time I have found it challenging to secure an appointment by telephone. Despite having the correct contact number, there have been instances where my calls appear to go unanswered, and on other occasions I have been told it is an incorrect number, which does not seem right. I am puzzled by the difficulty in reaching the practice to book appointments and find this frustrating.

Phone lines constantly busy and impossible to reach

I found this GP practice to be extremely frustrating to deal with. The telephone system is very difficult to navigate, as there appears to be no queuing system in place, which means calls are simply disconnected when the line is busy. On the rare occasions when I have managed to get through, there have been significant delays before anyone answers, sometimes taking around 20 minutes. When contact is finally established, I am frequently told to ring back at a specific time the following day, with the explanation that appointment slots are fully booked for the coming weeks. This pattern has repeated consistently throughout my attempts to reach them.

Impossible to book appointments with helpful staff

I have found it very difficult to secure appointments at this practice. When I recently attempted to book a consultation, I was informed that the earliest available slot with my preferred clinician would be approximately a month away. The alternative appointment offered was in around two weeks, but I have concerns about the approach taken by that particular clinician towards patients. Additionally, I have experienced instances where the reception staff have seemed rather curt and unhelpful when dealing with appointment requests. Overall, I have been disappointed with my experience at this surgery.
