Worst doctor and service ever experienced

Despite still being registered with the practice, Dr. Matthew proved utterly useless when my child had been suffering from fever and vomiting for three consecutive days. His callous response was to dismiss my concerns, stating he didn't care whether my child ate, and merely instructed me to ensure he drank fluids. Even more shockingly, he demanded I record a video of my child's vomiting and fever as proof, as if I were fabricating the situation. The appointment booking process is equally atrocious. I've repeatedly attempted to schedule an appointment for my partner, as recommended by another GP from the same surgery, only to be told that no slots are available for the next three months - an absolutely ridiculous scenario. The administrative staff are extraordinarily unprofessional, consistently refusing to address any inquiries or provide helpful information. This medical practice is completely unacceptable, and I am now compelled to escalate my complaint to management regarding the doctor who demonstrated such blatant disregard for my child's health and well-being.

Uncaring practice fails to support patient health

I've been consistently disregarded, manipulated, and marginalized by this medical practice. I understand the current challenges facing general practitioners, so I won't elaborate on the difficulties of securing an appointment or the impersonal nature of their repetitive triage process. What I will address is the substandard quality of my interactions with this practice. A receptionist suggested I was being overly dramatic when I highlighted significant health changes evident in a blood test. However, upon persistent investigation, I was diagnosed with PCOS - hardly a fabricated drama! This diagnosis has been accompanied by minimal support, no sense of urgency for treatment, and a complete lack of comprehensive care that continues to deteriorate my quality of life. I've not even been granted a meaningful face-to-face consultation beyond a cursory five-minute interaction. The situation is so dire that my counselor, also an NHS professional, was astounded by the minimal support I've received and unexpectedly provided assistance beyond her initial role. She exemplifies the compassionate approach entirely absent from the staff at Denmark surgery. If you're seeking a GP who will genuinely apply their professional expertise to your health, avoid Denmark Road Surgery. You'll find yourself relying solely on internet research for answers. Their dismissive response of "What would you like us to do" reveals their robotic approach - devoid of human empathy and professional responsibility. I'm sharing this experience hoping that potential patients will prioritize their well-being and seek care elsewhere. I wouldn't wish my experience with this practice, or the similar accounts I've read, upon anyone.

Fantastic staff and doctors at denmark road surgery

Miss Leah Almoge is an exceptional staff member at Denmark Road Surgery. She's incredibly attentive and breaks down medical information in a clear, comprehensible manner. The same can be said for Dr Tabe, Dr Ajayi, and Dr Youssef. They're all courteous, provide thorough explanations, and ensure patients fully grasp the information. My sole criticism is with their online registration form. Currently, it only requires basic symptom/injury details. I believe they should enhance the form by including more comprehensive sections specific to different medical areas. For instance, a dedicated "eye problems" section with targeted questions, or similar sections for skin or chest issues. Some other medical practices use this approach, and I find it much more user-friendly and efficient.
