The majority of clinical staff provide excellent care. Some nursing appointments vary in quality, so it helps to identify which ones work best for you. Phone lines constantly busy, hard to get seen

I have been a patient at this practice for many decades and regrettably, what was once a highly regarded surgery has experienced a significant decline. Obtaining an appointment requires waiting several weeks or attempting to call on the day itself, which I have tried repeatedly during morning hours without success, only to be advised that no slots were available or to seek emergency care if my symptoms worsened. It seems that if appointments were more readily accessible, there might be fewer patients needing to attend emergency services.

Ignored at unmanned desk while staff had coffee

The reception area appeared unmanned while staff were occupied elsewhere. Upon arrival, we did not receive a warm welcome and were informed that the practice is not currently taking on new patients, despite the online information suggesting otherwise. The experience left us feeling unwelcome from the moment we entered. We have decided to seek care at a different practice.

Impossible to book appointments at this practice

This practice is extremely frustrating to deal with. Appointments are nearly impossible to obtain unless you call at precisely 8am and happen to get through, which means patients have to arrange their schedules around their availability rather than the other way around. It feels counterproductive when you cannot access a doctor when needed. My health concerns have deteriorated over time, and I am pursuing further action regarding my care experience. I would appreciate if others could engage with this review to highlight the difficulties people face with this practice.

I haven't been able to see my GP for nearly three years due to working away from the area. I made arrangements to travel back for a scheduled appointment involving blood work tomorrow, but this has now been cancelled without any explanation provided.
