Unhelpful appointment with long wait for next review

I found the experience quite disappointing as the consultation didn't provide any new insights beyond what I already understood about my condition. Rather than offering an alternative approach, I was simply given a continuation of my existing treatment, which I have concerns about using long-term due to potential effects. I was hoping for a solution that would address and resolve my issue more comprehensively. It was ultimately a specialist elsewhere who provided the assistance I needed. I cannot recommend this practice based on my experience, as I felt it fell short of my expectations. The appointment structure involves a lengthy gap before follow-up, which doesn't align with my preference for more timely resolution of my health concerns.

Nurse remained patient despite difficult needle attempt

I attended an appointment with my spouse at the practice. The nursing staff member demonstrated considerable patience throughout the visit, particularly given my spouse's longstanding anxiety around medical procedures. Although the staff member made an attempt to obtain a blood sample, the procedure was unsuccessful, and we subsequently needed to attend hospital for further assessment.

Parking easy, staff put me at ease

Attended an appointment at the dermatology department for a procedure following a referral. It was a weekend morning and my first visit to the facility. The parking arrangements were excellent. The clinical staff who treated me were outstanding, demonstrating high levels of professionalism and putting me at ease throughout. Overall, a very positive experience. Thank you.

Out of hours doctor listened well, receptionist was rude

I had a positive experience with the out of hours clinician, who was approachable and attentive to my concerns. However, my overall experience was negatively impacted by my interaction with the reception staff member during my initial phone call. I found their manner to be unhelpful and felt their communication style was not conducive to a welcoming experience. This interaction left me feeling anxious about attending my appointment. I would have appreciated a more courteous approach to the initial contact.

Staff wouldn't take responsibility for registration issues

Extremely disappointing experience with poor coordination between different staff members and inconsistent practices across the centre. There was a tendency to redirect issues from one person to another rather than taking ownership, along with a general reluctance to provide assistance. This has been by far the worst experience I have encountered. After several months, the matter still remains unresolved and properly sorted.

Registration forms went missing after hand delivery

I believed I had completed my registration approximately two months prior, however there appeared to be no documentation of my submission despite delivering the forms in person. When I attempted to register at an alternative practice located in the same building, I was questioned about my ability to attend a different branch location. The service experience was disappointing, and I subsequently registered successfully with another provider. Having spent a considerable career working within the NHS, I now have greater insight into the frustrations patients experience with healthcare services.

Multiple medical facilities including general practice surgeries, a specialist dermatology clinic, and an ultrasound imaging centre, along with their associated facilities such as restrooms and waiting areas where patients gather prior to their scheduled appointments across the different departments.
