It was great, now it is at best poor.

You have to use online forms for everything. The problem is the forms are not the same as humans and if there is an issue you can not resolve it. Remember the TV character with the catchphrase ‘computer says no’. That is the very essence of this surgery. The surgery has gone from a place where the staff used to care to what appears to be a run-for-profit cash machine for deplorable doctors. Shame on them… people will die because of the lack of care here.

Frustrating medication delivery disrupts my health routine

I recently began a new daily medication regimen, and I was just informed that I cannot place an order until August 6th. By the time it arrives, I'll have depleted my current supply, forcing me to ration my medication by taking one pill instead of the recommended two. These are blood thinners, which I now require for life, and I must consult my healthcare provider if I miss a dose. Despite this frustrating ordering issue, the overall medical care I've received has been excellent.

Pharmacy service saves the day with quick help

I had intended to place my medication order online but accidentally missed clicking the submission button. With my supply of one tablet set to deplete by tomorrow, I visited the pharmacy today on May 30th. They promptly processed my prescription and transmitted it to the pharmacy in under 40 minutes, and the pharmacy staff managed to prepare my medication just before closing time. I wanted to share this positive experience, as one often hears numerous complaints, and it's important to acknowledge excellent service when it occurs.

Caring practice fails patient in critical health moment

A Compassionate Practice? Think Again In January 2024, after a brief 2-minute examination, they diagnosed a hernia and advised weight loss and a support belt. By September/October, I returned seeking pain relief, leading to a scan, CT scan, and ultimately a colonoscopy while under hospital care. Colon cancer was discovered, prompting an urgent November operation where part of my colon was removed, with the devastating news that the disease had spread to my liver. I'm currently undergoing chemotherapy, hoping for liver resection surgery followed by additional treatment. Regarding the supposed "caring" aspect... I received a message suggesting a spring COVID booster, which I was eager to receive. After consulting my consultant, who confirmed it could only be administered during a treatment-free period due to my compromised immune system, I explained my chemo cycle: 5-day rest periods after 15 days of continuous treatment. When I called the practice to discuss potential vaccination windows—Easter weekend or May 8th—I was met with a dismissive response from a supposedly medically qualified receptionist who flatly stated no clinics were available and suggested I find alternative vaccination options. And just like that, the conversation ended. A CARING PRACTICE...? Hardly.

Terrible pain management after my spinal surgery

I'm enduring excruciating agony after my spinal procedure. I contacted the surgical practice seeking the pain medication prescribed by the hospital consultant, but received no response. As a result, I was forced to cobble together various pain relief options throughout the weekend, feeling so desperate that I was indifferent to my own survival. The intensity of my suffering was so overwhelming that death seemed preferable. The medical staff demonstrated absolutely no compassion or concern for my condition, at least from my perspective.
