Long phone waits make booking appointments frustrating

I have been a patient at this practice for approximately 16 or 17 years. The quality of care declined following the departure of one of the senior clinicians, and has continued to deteriorate more recently. I understand that another clinician has also left the practice, which may be contributing to the current situation. Attempting to book an appointment involves lengthy waiting times on the telephone, often exceeding 20 minutes. When contact is finally established, available slots are typically fully booked, and the practice appears reluctant to schedule appointments further in advance. Even when presenting documentation from hospital services, the practice appears unable to provide adequate staffing for follow-up care after procedures.

Waiting times got worse after management changed

I have been a patient at this surgery for many years. Following changes in the management and retirement of the previous practitioners, there has been a noticeable decline in the standard of patient care. However, there are two practitioners who demonstrate genuine commitment to their patients and maintain a respectful approach to care. Unfortunately, there is one practitioner whose conduct and competence I have serious concerns about. I question whether their qualifications are legitimate and worry about their suitability for the role. I have significant reservations about their clinical practice and feel uncomfortable recommending them to others. I recognise this may sound extreme, but I have genuine concerns about patient safety based on my experiences.

This practice has become quite disappointing. I experienced a lengthy wait and felt rushed during my appointment, which was cut short. I would rate this lower if the system allowed, as the overall standard of care seems to have declined significantly.
