Patient Experience Summary

Feedback reveals a practice with significant operational challenges centred on appointment access and reception experience. Patients consistently report difficulties securing consultations through both telephone and online booking systems, with extended waiting times and unavailable slots cited as persistent problems. Reception staff interactions are frequently described as dismissive, discourteous, and unhelpful, particularly when patients require assistance or have complex needs. Communication breakdowns are evident across multiple service areas, including referral management, prescription handling, and appointment confirmations.

In contrast, clinical care receives notably positive feedback from many patients. Medical professionals are frequently praised for compassionate, thorough examinations, clear explanations, and genuine engagement with patient concerns. Several patients highlight specific doctors and nurses for their warmth, reassurance, and professional competence, with some noting meaningful improvements in their health outcomes through continuity of care.

The practice demonstrates inconsistency in service quality. While some patients report recent improvements in reception staff demeanor and appointment processes, others continue to experience frustration with booking inefficiencies and unresponsive communication. Administrative systems appear to require substantial review, particularly regarding appointment availability, online functionality, and staff responsiveness to patient needs.

Dr Razzaq's unprofessional and dismissive attitude

Appalling conduct displayed by the reception staff and Dr. Razzaq, characterized by consistently subpar professionalism, an arrogant demeanor, and demeaning interactions. The complete lack of meaningful engagement when addressing grievances represents a profound failure to meet even the most fundamental expectations of patient care. This systemic indifference is deeply troubling and demands immediate intervention.

Impossible to see a doctor while pregnant

Completely unacceptable medical practice. Their reception staff are utterly unhelpful, leaving patients on hold indefinitely without securing an appointment. This is especially problematic for expectant mothers at a critical stage of pregnancy. Undoubtedly the most incompetent healthcare provider imaginable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frustrating gp phone queue every single morning

Incredibly frustrating experience with their lack of professionalism and inefficient scheduling. Every single time I attempt to book an appointment, they claim to be swamped. They instruct patients to call at 8am, but when I follow their guidance during weekdays, I consistently find myself in a lengthy queue - sometimes as far back as 10th or 20th in line. How can such extensive waiting occur first thing in the morning? On the rare occasions I finally reach a receptionist, their standard response is simply "no appointments available" and they direct me to try again the next day at 8am. This approach is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a total disregard for patient needs.

Cream instead of promised allergy test

I recently encountered an utterly disheartening experience at this medical facility, and I feel driven to share my profound disappointment with potential patients. I had been grappling with persistent, unexplained allergies for an extended period. Upon entering the clinic, I was optimistic that I would finally gain clarity about my allergic condition. However, my optimism quickly evaporated when the physician pledged to conduct an allergen test but ultimately provided me with a cream instead. This felt like a deliberate deception that left me feeling angry and manipulated. I had deliberately scheduled an appointment, meticulously detailed my allergy symptoms, and was assured that an allergen test would be the definitive next step in identifying my triggers. To my dismay, the doctor appeared indifferent and almost contemptuous of my legitimate health concerns. Rather than receiving the promised diagnostic test, I was simply handed a cream as if it were a universal remedy. What amplifies the frustration of this encounter is that I had genuinely high expectations, and it became painfully clear they fell catastrophically short of even the most fundamental patient care standards. I had placed my trust in their professional expertise, believing they would provide comprehensive medical attention. Instead, I was palmed off with a cream, leaving me with identical unresolved questions and persistent symptoms. It is profoundly demoralizing to encounter a medical practice that so blatantly disregards patient welfare and offers superficial, meaningless solutions. I strongly caution anyone contemplating their services to thoroughly reconsider. My experience stands as a stark warning about the critical importance of rigorous research and maintaining healthy skepticism toward unsubstantiated medical promises.

Impossible to book an appointment anywhere

This is hands-down the most abysmal medical practice I've encountered. Their disregard for patient welfare is shockingly appalling. Repeatedly, I've attempted to schedule an appointment, only to be dismissively told to call at 8am the following day for a first-come, first-served slot. Like most working professionals, my job begins at 8am, making it impossible to request time off in the education sector just to potentially secure an appointment. Their scheduling system is completely arbitrary, with limited slots that depend entirely on who manages to call first - a practice I find utterly unacceptable. The general practitioners demonstrate zero compassion, while the receptionists are brutally cold and unhelpful. Time and again, I've been turned away without any meaningful assistance or resolution. Their antiquated booking system makes scheduling an appointment two weeks in advance virtually impossible. To compound the frustration, most GP practices in the Enfield Borough refuse new patients, effectively trapping you with your current practice. The situation has become so dire that I've ultimately given up on seeking medical care, silently enduring my health issues because securing a workable appointment is simply unattainable. This is the deplorable state of healthcare I'm experiencing.

Terrible north london clinic with rude staff

A truly abysmal medical facility located in north London, with physicians and personnel who demonstrate complete incompetence. Their level of care is appallingly inadequate, giving the impression they aren't even attempting to provide basic service. The reception team is notably unwelcoming and off-putting. Under no circumstances should anyone consider visiting this clinic.

Friendly doc and easy booking at Eagle House

I was thoroughly impressed by the seamless appointment booking process and the warm, inviting front desk staff. Dr. Taha Ansari, my general practitioner, took ample time to thoroughly examine me and ensured I underwent all required laboratory tests. After reviewing earlier feedback, I can confidently say that significant improvements have been made recently, and I want to highlight the exceptional experience I had just days ago. I would wholeheartedly recommend Eagle House Surgery's compassionate services without hesitation. Excellent work!!!

Worst patient registration ever

I approached this medical practice with an open mind, despite prior critical feedback, hoping to become a new patient. However, my interaction with two different receptionists was deeply disappointing. The first seemed annoyed when I requested registration forms, and the second instructed me to go home and complete the paperwork since no staff were available to receive it. When I asked for a clipboard, I was bizarrely told to stand against a wall and fill out the form. A sincere recommendation to the practice partners: you urgently need to address the reception team's customer service approach. The current staff demonstrate a profound lack of professionalism, displaying rudeness and a dismissive attitude that is completely unacceptable in a healthcare setting.

Broken promises at 4pm appointment booking

If there were a rating below zero, I'd choose it. The receptionist was disrespectful, poorly trained, and unable to communicate effectively or show any empathy. My sister, battling severe post-natal depression, consulted an online doctor who promised to text her an appointment date and time. NOTHING HAPPENED. She was forced to call the next morning at 8am, only to discover within minutes that no appointments were available! Why would a doctor make such a false promise?!? Completely irresponsible and demonstrating a shocking lack of professionalism. Zero sensitivity towards her mental health condition, failing to recognize her as a vulnerable single mother in desperate need of support (not to mention her innocent baby). She was directed to an online portal at 4pm to book an appointment and request a sick note, only to find - predictably - no available slots. A blatant, upfront deception. Steer clear of this GP practice at all costs. A total breakdown of NHS care standards that absolutely warrants a thorough investigation!

Booking a nightmare for elderly patients

I'm reluctant to post a negative critique, but I concur with the other one-star ratings. Scheduling an appointment is an incredibly challenging process, and the front desk staff display a dismissive attitude that seems particularly insensitive towards vulnerable, elderly, or unwell patients (especially when family members are trying to book on their behalf). While it's clear they're likely operating with limited resources and the reception staff are probably underpaid, they don't even make an effort to appear sympathetic. The entire experience is both infuriating and disheartening.

Sick note nightmare at local gp

Complete waste of time at this medical practice. They claim no appointment is needed for a sick note, yet it takes a week to secure a slot through their online system, which typically fills up in moments. After navigating that process, you're then scheduled for a doctor's consultation five days later, when all you actually required was a simple Covid sick note. Moreover, when you phone the surgery, they insist you can obtain the sick note via their website. Absolutely frustrating! 🤬🤬😡

A complete disappointment... I attempted to schedule an appointment yesterday but was redirected to try again today. Despite experiencing intense discomfort, I arrived early at 8am to secure a slot, only to be informed they were entirely unavailable. The personnel displayed zero empathy or concern. I was ultimately compelled to seek treatment at North Middlesex Hospital. Eagle House medical facility is utterly useless and should be permanently closed due to their total lack of patient care.

Rude receptionist made registration nightmare

As a newcomer to the area and a Type 1 Diabetic, I attempted to register today and was met with an utterly unacceptable reception. The receptionist's behavior was shockingly disrespectful, rude, and completely dismissive. While I recognize the potential strain on their service (evident from the three-week waiting list), such conduct is inexcusable. After reviewing other experiences, it's clear this isn't an isolated incident. The customer service here is simply appalling.

Moreover, she took the time to carefully demonstrate proper breast self-examination techniques, showing genuine care and patience. Endless wait and phone hang-ups

So here's the situation. Suffered an ACL injury back in December 2021, and now it's February 2023 and I still can't get an actual appointment. Been dealing with a nasty chest infection since July 2022, went to A&E multiple times, was supposedly meant to have a GP consultation. I called them, got a vague appointment for 'friday' with zero specifics. When I showed up to resolve this, they claimed they'd called me two weeks earlier and I didn't respond - which makes no sense since I was the one who initiated the call. The morning receptionist was completely unhelpful, telling me to call for an appointment and they'd handle it over the phone. I called right in front of her, and they just hung up on me. Absolutely fantastic healthcare. 10/10, might as well consider ending it all.
