Lost prescription and rude staff
The receptionist staff's performance was utterly unacceptable. I was forced to make repeated phone calls due to complications with my prescription that had gone missing. When I politely requested that a staff member clarify her previous statement because of poor call quality, she responded with an exasperated "ugh" and spoke abruptly before disconnecting the call. Her demeanor was completely unprofessional and she demonstrated zero willingness to assist me.

The surgical practice's service is absolutely dreadful. I scheduled an online consultation, and not a single person bothered to contact me for an entire week, despite the matter being CRITICAL. When I visited the surgery to investigate, they absurdly claimed the doctor attempted to reach me - which is completely false. I requested they arrange an appointment for my husband with the nurse, but they pushed the responsibility back to me to make the call. Predictably, I tried multiple times, enduring lengthy waiting periods, yet received no response. The reception staff are discourteous and provide utterly useless information.

Longtime patient frustrated with booking system
I've been a patient at this practice for over three decades. The medical staff have consistently been excellent, and their nurses can draw blood, saving me a trip to the hospital. Unfortunately, their administrative systems are severely lacking. The phone lines are perpetually jammed, often requiring multiple attempts just to connect. Appointment availability is extremely limited, and the cancellation process is frustratingly archaic - you can only cancel via phone, not online. Similarly, booking appointments with nurses is phone-only, and not all patient information is digitally stored. They struggle with scheduling routine appointments, such as monthly check-ups. The earliest appointment slot is 8:30am, yet despite this early start, they consistently run behind schedule. Nurse appointments can be delayed by up to 30 minutes, while doctor appointments may run an hour late. I give 5 stars for the medical professionals' competence and skill. However, their administrative performance earns just 1 star.

I've been a patient at this medical practice since 2012, and while I won't claim everything is perfect, it's definitely the best healthcare facility I've ever experienced. My doctors - Dr. Cumming, Dr. Johal, and Dr. Amanda - are truly exceptional. They are incredibly compassionate, attentive, and genuinely listen to their patients. The former receptionist is excellent, and the senior nurse who administers immunizations is absolutely wonderful. To my friends, I can confidently say this medical practice is truly outstanding.

Referral letter mess left me frustrated
Absolutely abysmal patient support. I requested a referral letter over seven days ago, and they've made zero progress! Incredibly, they're now claiming it was processed this very morning! I'm frustrated that the receptionist seems incapable of correctly reading dates and is confusing Tuesday the 16th with Tuesday the 23rd. Additionally, our MAT 1 document remains unsigned! As a consequence, my wife hasn't received her wages, and the receptionist's only solution is for me to return at week's end!! This situation is completely unacceptable. People depend on their income to survive!

I wouldn't claim it's flawless, but the app serves its purpose during urgent situations. Some appointments can be scheduled online in a short timeframe. Referrals to specialists are straightforward. The front desk staff consistently demonstrates kindness and offers excellent assistance. Most of the physicians at the practice meet my expectations - they demonstrate expertise and maintain a high professional standard. I rarely find myself in disagreement with their medical advice.

Utterly disgraceful! For nearly twelve months, I've been pursuing medical attention about my jaw issue, initially dismissed as a muscular concern. However, an X-ray clearly revealed significant bone damage. The receptionist's behavior was completely unprofessional - she abruptly interrupted while patients were waiting, and then the doctor was called out, seemingly discussing my case privately behind closed doors! I'm thoroughly disappointed with the entire practice's approach and attitude. The staff appear more concerned with displaying professional arrogance than actually addressing patient health concerns, seemingly content to let medical problems escalate rather than providing proper care and attention.

Using the digital booking system, I managed to book one appointment out of one attempt in the same timeframe. This involved navigating the cumbersome 'Patient Access' online platform, which is consistently challenging to access. Regarding critical health-related correspondence and blood tests, my success rate stands at 1 out of 3 during this period. The single successful health referral was ironically for the least serious condition. My experience-based ratings for key aspects are as follows: Receptionist Politeness: 3/5 Receptionist Effectiveness: 1/5 Doctor Consultation Quality: 3/5 Regarding my Doctor Consultation Quality assessment - this is entirely subjective, based on the coherence of the doctors' questioning. I presented an MRI scan diagnosing a specific issue, confirmed by a senior specialist, yet they seemed uninterested and suggested a blood test to investigate alternative causes. Given my ongoing struggles with this practice, my sole objective was obtaining a referral letter to seek private medical treatment. My overall impression is that this practice is fundamentally ineffective in managing medical issues, with its only utility being referrals to private consultants - which have become increasingly necessary. Regrettably, no alternative practices in the catchment area appear to perform any better... I've investigated multiple times. It seems the NHS is completely overwhelmed - a deeply disheartening situation.
