After spending time on a phone call at 8 AM and navigating their online scheduling system for an appointment, I was simply redirected to a pharmacy to collect medication without ever speaking to a medical professional. Completely pointless.

Exceptional medical care that keeps me marathon-fit
Lately, consulting multiple general practitioners has proven to be advantageous in my experience. The entire medical team offers insightful and practical health guidance, while still respecting, as Sarah Zaidi points out, individual "choice". This is an exceptionally proactive healthcare approach that absolutely merits a perfect score without question. At 57, I'm capable of running marathon lengths - which speaks volumes about the effectiveness of their approach.

Endless waiting and frustration with booking appointments
Even with the new phone queuing system in place, scheduling an appointment continues to be an incredibly frustrating experience. Waiting in line at position 18/19, only to be told to "call back at 8am tomorrow" has essentially become my unwelcome daily ritual.

I’ve been in pain for four weeks. Tried anti-inflammatory off counter tablet. Called to mss as decent appointment to be asked if it was an emergency, said no. Was told no appointments!!!! This after a 30 minute hold on the phone.

Terrible medical practice with zero patient care
I had to persistently argue with a doctor to finally get blood tests, and it turned out I require lifelong medication. Booking appointments is nearly impossible, and their online services are completely unreliable, leaving me without access. I accidentally unregistered my child and had to re-register (which I only discovered while trying to book an appointment, as no information was provided). I submitted a complaint about the original doctor and received absolutely no response. They wanted me to redo blood tests, but I was told by a nurse that only a doctor could issue the form. After multiple phone calls attempting to pre-book a consultation, I was instructed to call in the morning. Eventually, I went in person and discovered that afternoon/evening receptionists are significantly more helpful than morning staff - they printed my blood test form without any issues. Overall, most staff demonstrate zero bedside manner, compassion, understanding, or empathy towards patients, which is appalling. To make matters worse, no one added my lifelong medication to my repeat prescriptions, so when they reissued it, I now have 18 months' worth. It's absolutely unbelievable how these individuals can be considered "care" providers - the irony is beyond comprehension!

Scheduling an appointment is a constant struggle as patients must all ring simultaneously at 8am, with the line perpetually busy until around 8:20, after which you're typically informed all slots are already taken - an utterly absurd arrangement. The medical staff rotation is chaotic, offering zero consistent care. My most recent interaction with Dr Latif was particularly appalling - their approach was demeaning, disrespectful, and so distressing that I was reduced to tears, completely undermining the seriousness of my medical condition. If alternative healthcare providers were available, I would have switched long ago, but it seems widespread reviews suggest similar disappointing experiences across the board. This practice deserves even less than the single star I'm reluctantly awarding.
