I have experienced significant delays waiting three weeks for a work-related note that was issued incorrectly as a sick note instead, and subsequent difficulties in getting this corrected. Additionally, I have struggled to obtain medications that were prescribed to me from a hospital, as the practice has not processed these prescriptions despite assurances that the matter had been resolved. When I followed up by phone, I found the prescriptions had not been issued. I have found the practice's handling of my healthcare needs to be frustrating and inadequate. I was also prescribed a medication type that is similar to one that previously contributed to a deterioration in my mental health, which I feel should have been identified and avoided given my medical history. Overall, my experience with the practice has been disappointing and has left me concerned about the level of care provided.

Really unprofessional and incompetent clinicians

NHS is horrible, especially because it hires such incompetent, immigrant doctors who severely lack professional standards and misdiagnose you easily. I first saw N. B. who was really unprofessional when doing the routine checkup, wrote highly inaccurate details in the consultation report, and gave a complete nonsensical misdiagnosis that doesn't even exist in the medical dictionary that dismisses my condition entirely. Then I saw another (indian) assistant called A. who was dressed inappropriately and was very rude and arrogant. I also believe some of my blood tests were inaccurate due to a severe discrepancy compared to one taken only three months ago. This is what I paid 2000+ in immigration surcharge for!

Practice declined after app-only booking system introduced

This practice was once excellent, but standards have noticeably declined over recent years. Several years ago, I had a very positive experience. The practice made an effort to ensure continuity of care with the same clinician when possible, and every healthcare professional I saw was compassionate and attentive, taking time to listen to my concerns and provide clear explanations. I have only seen one clinician recently who was satisfactory. However, obtaining an appointment has become extremely difficult. The appointment booking system no longer allows telephone calls to reception; everything must be handled through the app, which may result in a curt response from reception staff within five days, or you may find yourself repeatedly following up for a reply. Two members of the reception team are notably unfriendly during phone interactions. This is unfortunate as they represent the practice to patients, and they appear disengaged and reluctant to provide assistance. While I recognise the pressures facing the NHS, I have since registered with a different practice where the standard of care is considerably superior. Basic courtesy and understanding cost nothing.

However, the clinician used a helpful technique of preventing me from seeing the monitor readings, along with a calm and reassuring approach. Obviously, there are many factors that can affect blood pressure levels, but on this day my readings were unusually low. The clinician also took the time to listen to my request about a potential health concern. This is the first time a health professional has taken this seriously, and they sent me a link to an NHS assessment to begin the process. Thank you — more of this approach, please.
