Another issue has arisen with my parents' repeat prescription orders. This should be a straightforward task for the surgery to manage, yet it appears to go wrong on a regular basis. The pharmacy is currently waiting for the surgery to release the medication. This same problem occurs repeatedly each month. The practice really needs to address this matter. The service feels quite unprofessional. Both my parents are registered at this practice and would like this resolved. I have called multiple times and been told the issue has been dealt with, but it clearly hasn't been, and the pharmacy is still waiting for the prescription to come through. If you are considering using this practice, I would advise against it. The standard of patient care has been disappointing. My parents have been with this practice for many years, and I handle ordering their medications. The situation is frustrating. If my parents were managing this themselves, they would be constantly travelling back and forth to the surgery to sort out their prescriptions. The practice really needs to get this straightforward matter under control.
