Feedback reflects a deeply polarised patient experience with significant operational challenges alongside pockets of positive care. Appointment access emerges as the most persistent concern, with patients reporting extended waiting times, phone system difficulties, and unreliable online booking platforms that frequently display no availability. Communication delays are widespread, including unresponsive messaging systems, lost requests, and slow prescription processing. Many patients describe feeling dismissed or encountering dismissive staff attitudes, whilst others highlight compassionate reception staff and responsive professionals who demonstrate genuine care. Continuity of care issues appear following recent service changes, with some patients experiencing frequent provider switching and administrative dysfunction affecting referrals and medical records. Conversely, several patients commend thorough consultations, efficient scheduling processes, and supportive clinical teams who prioritise patient wellbeing despite systemic pressures.
The practice demonstrates inconsistent service quality across different service areas and patient interactions. Positive experiences centre on reception courtesy, clinical expertise, and responsive communication through digital platforms when functioning effectively. However, negative feedback consistently highlights barriers to appointment availability, particularly same-day-only booking restrictions and lengthy phone queues. Prescription errors, misplaced documentation, and communication breakdowns between departments suggest administrative challenges. Some patients report improved experiences with newer digital systems, whilst others find them confusing or non-functional. The overall impression suggests a practice under considerable strain, where individual staff members often provide compassionate care but systemic issues around access, booking processes, and administrative coordination significantly impact patient experience and confidence in the service.

The Doctors are very good once you are able to get to see them. The reception staff are terrible. They do their very best to stop you having any form of contact with a Doctor. They make an assessment of the condition on which you are reporting and only if they deem the symtoms to be a sufficient cause do they even pass it on to a Doctor. They are also obstinate, inconsiderate and uncompassionate. The example in particular that I have in mind is that having had an assessment made by a consultant for a potentially very serious condition, I received a phone call from their secretary (or such like) advsing me that I should speak to my Doctor regarding the assessment made. When I contacted the reception at Farnham Park Health Group they refused even to give a message to my Doctor, asking for them to contact me to discuss the assessment made by the consultant. I clearly explained FOUR times to the lady on reception that I had been advised to speak to my Doctor regarding an assessment made by a consultant, but she was totally dismissive and refused to listen to me. I subsequently put the phone down in frustration (to put it mildly). I have now registered with another surgery. I would never recommend Farnham Park Health Group to anyone unless I was certain that the current reception staff had left of their own accord or been sacked. (which they should be)

BadWaited a month for nothing
Waited a month to get an appointment. on the day kept waiting for 30 minutes, no other paitents going in so wasn't due to number of paitents. GP was irritable and unfriendly, made a diagnosis in avery brusque manner. Booked another appointment as didn't believe the diagnosis, waited another 3 weeks, sure enough the second doctor said the first diagnosis was not correct.

Quick booking and friendly staff
Superb experience overall. The scheduling platform is incredibly efficient, with responses that are almost surprisingly quick (it genuinely amazes me at times). Securing appointments has always been seamless, even prior to their system upgrade. The front desk staff and healthcare professionals consistently demonstrate warmth and exceptional support. Zero complaints whatsoever.

AverageAppalling appointments system
After changing terrible appointment systems regularly over several years, the current one is still unfit for purpose. First the online form is multiple choice, so does not cater for many conditions, and indeed is totally useless for any question that does not fit a symptom. Once you flog through it, you get an email telling you to click link which tells you that there are no appointments. You are supposed to keep clicking this link for 6 days, but of course you just get the same response each time: no appointments. Only if the condition is critical are you told you can phone.

Smooth first visit to friendly local practice
After recently relocating to this area, I've been thoroughly impressed with this medical practice. Whenever I've required an appointment, they've managed to schedule me promptly and smoothly, which has been incredibly supportive during my transition to a new location. Without exception, every staff member I've encountered, from the front desk to the medical professionals, has been genuinely warm, approachable, and supportive. The sense of being truly heard and well-cared for is immensely comforting. My sincere appreciation goes out to the entire team for delivering such an outstanding, compassionate, and competent healthcare service.

Ellen saved my day at the clinic
What a pleasant surprise today! I typically approach calls to this surgical office with apprehension, knowing past interactions often involve battling through an unhelpful receptionist who tends to speak condescendingly. However, today was completely different. I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with ELLEN, who was extraordinarily courteous and professional. Her exceptional customer service made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. For once, I ended a call feeling genuinely respected and well-supported. ELLEN truly deserves high praise for her outstanding approach - she gets a perfect 10/10 from me.

Frustrating gps and endless medical uncertainty
What was once a top-notch medical facility has now deteriorated into a completely ineffective operation since their GPS system was modified. There's an alarming lack of medication reviews, and patients are subjected to continuous blood tests without receiving any conclusive explanation for long-standing symptoms. This ongoing uncertainty creates significant emotional strain, leaving patients in a perpetual state of anxiety about their unresolved health concerns.

Booking link nightmare with no appointments
Utter nonsense! Got a so-called "personalized link" to schedule an appointment. I've been attempting to use it for four consecutive days, but it consistently displays "sorry, no more appointments available." The link is set to expire in just one day, leaving me back at the starting point. This is absolutely absurd - a healthcare provider with a booking system that resembles purchasing concert tickets is a complete exercise in futility for both patients and staff. When I tried calling the practice, their only advice was to "keep trying"?! Completely unfit for its intended purpose, but hey, it's just healthcare, right...

Awful phone booking amid broken web system
These people are completely incompetent. Their only response is "the web system isn't functional"! Well, they need to fix it already. The telephone reservation process is the sole functional aspect. Absolutely abysmal customer service.

Impossible to book an appointment online
My partner recently registered with this practice after relocating, and given his demanding 12-hour work schedule, I attempted to book an appointment by phone. Despite being first in the queue, I was left waiting for 10 minutes before the call was answered. The receptionist informed me they do not handle doctor appointment bookings via phone and instead sent a link to my mobile. She mentioned the system opens at 8am for appointments. I completed the online questionnaire, selecting 'seek medical advice', but have received no response whatsoever. The following morning at 8:49, I tried booking online and found no self-appointments available. I repeated the process the next morning at 8:14, again with no success. Securing an appointment seems completely unattainable. I subsequently emailed the surgery and have been met with complete silence. Steer clear of this practice at all costs!!!!

Waited hours for a no-show doctor
This medical practice is completely unprofessional. You schedule appointments, but the doctor consistently fails to contact you. They provide a two-hour time window and routinely ignore it. This isn't just a rare occurrence—it happens every single time, making the entire process frustrating and unreliable.

Quick wait, thorough care
Exceptional experience today, Front desk staff were constantly engaged during my visit, with a brief 5-minute wait. 👍 The team demonstrated excellent coordination and professionalism The healthcare professional I consulted was outstanding, taking ample time to explain thoroughly and consult with colleagues. This gives me hope for future healthcare interactions. 👍👀👍

Caring doctor who really listens
Just had a consultation with Dr Bhamm, and I must say she's the most exceptional physician I've encountered since arriving in the United Kingdom back in 1989. I sincerely hope FPHG manages to retain such an outstanding medical professional.

Booking nightmare at my longtime clinic
Their appointment booking process is an absolute nightmare that seems to get more complicated with each attempt. I went through their entire questionnaire, only to have the surgery call me while I missed their contact. They left a voicemail instructing me to call back, and when I did, they redirected me to another email link. Upon clicking that link, I discovered no appointments were even available - it's like being trapped in an endless bureaucratic maze, and all of this happened within just 10 minutes. The reception staff continue to be unhelpful and condescending during phone interactions, with an attitude that suggests they resent their own jobs. Despite having been a patient here since birth, I've reached my breaking point. The number of times I've abandoned trying to secure an appointment is frankly ridiculous, and I've decided it's no longer worth the frustration. I'll be switching to another medical practice where hopefully efficiency and basic customer service still exist.

Terrible wait times and lost urine samples
The quality of care at this medical practice has significantly declined. Patients endure excessively prolonged waiting periods, and attempts to reach staff via telephone go unanswered. Recently, they misplaced my toddler's urine test specimens, and it appears there is a severe breakdown in communication between the healthcare workers.

Rude receptionist hung up on me
I've been a patient at this medical practice for two decades, and scheduling appointments has always been challenging. This morning, I attempted to book an appointment via telephone and actually reached a receptionist. When I inquired about securing a slot with the asthma clinic, they abruptly terminated the call. No explanation, no courtesy, just an immediate disconnection without warning. I anticipated they might follow up, but so far, there's been complete radio silence. I'm utterly disheartened by this unprofessional and dismissive treatment.

Chest infection left me totally ignored
What an absolute farce of medical care, truly unbelievable. I've been battling illness over the past week, developing a chest infection, so I contacted the GP surgery's receptionist who seemed utterly shocked that I would even dare to reach out. I was instructed to submit all my symptoms through their online form and warned that if I didn't fabricate symptoms like a fever, I might wait indefinitely - a fantastic initial approach. I diligently completed the form, providing only honest information, and then waited. And waited. And waited some more. Eventually, I received an email stating they couldn't see or speak with me, instead recommending I rush to A&E or dial 999…truly speechless. Consequently, I invested in an online GP consultation. Within half an hour, they reviewed a video of my symptoms, confirmed the chest infection, and promptly emailed a prescription for antibiotics. I'm completely baffled by the purpose of this so-called GP surgery - they're utterly ineffective and might as well not exist. My recommendation is to avoid contacting them entirely and find alternative methods of medical attention, especially if you're on the brink of pneumonia. If such a serious condition doesn't warrant their attention, you're essentially left with no hope whatsoever.

Frustrating wait times and no access to care
Reaching this medical practice is incredibly challenging, with communication and scheduling being major obstacles. Phone consultations are ineffective, leaving patients in a frustrating situation where the struggle to obtain medical attention becomes more distressing than their actual health condition. As a result, individuals are compelled to endure their medical issues for extended periods, hindered by an incredibly unresponsive healthcare system.

Quick help from caring receptionist
I recently sought a medical consultation and filled out their digital intake form. When the online scheduling link didn't work, I decided to call the clinic directly. The front desk staff member was incredibly supportive and successfully booked me an appointment for the upcoming week. Absolutely fantastic. My sincere appreciation.
