During a recent consultation with Dr. Tawana, he demonstrated exceptional listening skills and approached my health comprehensively, avoiding narrow-minded assessments or simplistic explanations. His careful and considerate approach to my medical needs instilled a strong sense of trust and confidence. However, I have encountered less satisfactory interactions with some female doctors, who occasionally seemed less attentive or comprehensive in their approach to my health concerns. Worst medical service ever life-threatening negligence

I wouldn't even rate them 1 star - more like a negative 100. I'm supposed to be on a weekly controlled prescription, but they can't seem to get it right. My partner tried discussing the missed medication, and they talked over him, showing zero concern for me as a patient. When my partner stressed about potential health risks, the front desk staff went into a consultation room and started laughing - completely unprofessional. Reception claimed they're just admin and told us to use an app that doesn't work for medication requests, even though the pharmacist has been trying to get the prescription sorted. It's clearly the surgery's fault and they obviously don't care - we're just another source of income to them. I started throwing up in the car due to a medical flare-up, so my partner went back inside. He told me the Asian receptionist with glasses was giving him dirty looks and interrupting, which led to a confrontation. Now I'll be waiting all day for my prescription, risking seizures and potential hospitalization. If you're in Slough, avoid this surgery at all costs - they're more interested in risking patients' lives than helping them get necessary medication. A blind person could run this place more competently. It's absolutely disgraceful, and the doctors don't deserve their medical licenses. My partner has warned them that if I end up in hospital due to their incompetence, it's entirely their responsibility. This surgery is a disgrace to the NHS and should have their licenses revoked. The doctors need to return to medical school and learn how to properly care for patients and represent the healthcare system with dignity.

Worst medical experience ever at this terrible surgery

I've been a patient at this medical practice since last October, and it has been an absolute disaster. If you're new to the area, steer clear of this place. The staff are incredibly unprofessional and dismissive. During one visit, a nurse actually yelled at me for arriving five minutes late — five minutes — because the car park is so poorly signposted and difficult to locate. Their online booking system is completely dysfunctional, and when I sought assistance by phone, they flatly refused to help me schedule an appointment. Upon requesting to speak with a manager, I was told they were conveniently "unavailable." To add insult to injury, a staff member named Linda mockingly laughed and challenged me, saying, "It works fine — if you think otherwise, you'll need to come in and prove it." The implication that I was fabricating the issue was utterly demeaning. What's even more alarming is my existing medical condition. Every single time I've attempted to discuss my health concerns, not a single staff member demonstrated any genuine understanding. The so-called "medical guidance" I received could have potentially endangered my health significantly. This practice is an absolute embarrassment — they demonstrate a complete lack of compassion, professionalism, and basic patient respect. No one deserves to be treated with such contempt.

The surgical practice is abysmal. At this stage, escalating the matter to higher authorities is the only viable option. I strongly recommend that everyone take similar action to ensure they are held accountable. It is crucial to document every interaction, whether in person or via telephone, to have concrete evidence for your complaint, as they are prone to dishonesty. I personally captured a plump blonde receptionist verbally berating an elderly patient, and today I recorded a doctor treating me with blatant unfairness, which I will be forwarding to the board via email this evening. They must comprehend that without patients, their surgery would cease to exist, and this is the United Kingdom where medical professionals are not infallible and can indeed be disciplined for misconduct. I've included a screenshot of the complaint channels for reference. If they lack the desire to help or show compassion to vulnerable individuals, what is the purpose of running a medical practice? Is it merely another profit-driven enterprise on Farnham Road?

I've been a patient at Farnham Road Surgery for over a decade. I initially switched from a previously excellent practice due to a home move. The surgery used to be a decent healthcare provider, but something has clearly changed with their administrative staff. They insist on using Anima for appointments, which is incredibly frustrating. Their policy of allowing only one medical issue per consultation is ridiculous - especially when problems might be interconnected, forcing patients to waste time and book multiple appointments. Not everyone can afford to wait around for callbacks. I was referred by my GP for breast-related tests with instructions to follow up, but booking an appointment with the same doctor proved impossible. When I requested a female doctor like my previous physician, I was told none were available. The situation worsened with their complete administrative incompetence - my son needed a Royal Air Force Cadets form completed, and while the RAF specifically requested bank transfer details on the form's last page, the admin staff arbitrarily ignored this and demanded cash or card payment. The list of problems with this practice continues to grow. Farnham Road Surgery has become a profound disappointment. Patients are no longer treated as individuals, but merely as anonymous file entries to be processed mechanically.

One star is far too generous for this abysmal service. It's been 16 days, and I'm still waiting on my medical report. The level of frustration is beyond words. Never in my entire life have I encountered such utterly incompetent service. When questioned, they casually mention a 28-day turnaround time. I'm absolutely certain I won't receive my report even within that extended timeframe!!!

Incredible doctors terrible reception but five stars

I'm awarding 5 stars solely because of the exceptional medical professionals, with Dr. Afnan Rao standing out as a true asset to the practice. Every doctor I've encountered has been outstanding and incredibly supportive. However, the reception staff is a completely different story - they would barely scrape a 2-star rating. I can recall only one instance of receiving genuinely good service; otherwise, communicating with them is like trying to break through a concrete barrier. Their approach is remarkably unprofessional, and in my workplace, such performance would result in immediate dismissal. I wish I could remember the name of the one helpful staff member so they could demonstrate to their colleagues how to properly perform their duties. I apologize for the critical tone, but I want to emphasize my 5-star rating is exclusively for Dr. Afnan Rao and the other excellent doctors and nurses.
