I endured an abysmal experience with their customer service, wasting nearly an hour on hold only to discover zero available appointments for the next month and a half. What's the purpose of maintaining a phone line if they can't schedule anything? The staff demonstrated a complete lack of compassion, and this problem appears uniquely prevalent in the Witham location. The nurse practitioners could seriously benefit from additional training in empathy and clinical understanding. If I could rate this experience lower than one star, I absolutely would.

Disastrous medical service - my aging father urgently required an immediate consultation, and despite calling precisely when advised, I was left waiting on hold for nearly 60 minutes. Upon finally connecting, I was abruptly informed that no appointments remained and was instructed to visit the emergency department. The receptionist's demeanor was shockingly discourteous, though fortunately the physician proved supportive once my dad actually received attention - I'm immensely grateful my local practice in Suffolk operates far more professionally - if possible, I'd rate this experience below the lowest possible rating.

The nurse handling emergency consultations is consistently discourteous. Whenever I bring my children to her, she displays a dismissive attitude and repeatedly claims she cannot diagnose their condition. As a result, I'm forced to schedule another appointment with the actual doctor, which involves waiting several weeks. These emergency appointment visits are completely unproductive and frustrating, rendering the entire process ineffective.

I understand it's not entirely the practice's doing, but their appointment system is overwhelmingly overcrowded. Calling precisely at 8am gives you roughly a 2% chance of securing a slot. If unsuccessful, you're simply redirected to the walk-in centre in Colchester, which is completely impractical for urgent medical needs or older patients. The staff's attitude doesn't help either - while the environment might be stressful, a little compassion would go a long way.

I'd recommend either eliminating these intrusive inquiries or creating a discreet consultation space. Ultimately, the blame for these challenges lies with the local planning authorities who continue to approve construction without considering essential service capacity. Update: November 2023. The assigned physician has been remarkably attentive, proactively following up with personal calls about my condition and advocating for comprehensive hospital investigations.
