Forgotten at the Clinic, Treated Badly

My spouse arrived punctually for his medical consultation. Despite being on time, he was left waiting for 40 minutes. Upon questioning the front desk staff, he learned they had failed to properly log his arrival. The receptionists offered no apology for causing him to miss his appointment, seemingly more engaged in casual conversation and laughter. When he stressed the urgency of seeing the doctor, they callously suggested he call an ambulance. The reception team displayed extremely unprofessional behavior and appeared discourteous. We both felt their treatment towards him was potentially motivated by racial prejudice.

Mixed care from nice doctor but rude staff

The physician was pleasant and supportive, but the front desk employees are extremely discourteous and more focused on chatting among themselves rather than assisting patients with necessary details. I will absolutely advise others to seek an alternative medical practice, and I am personally planning to transition away from this clinic as well.

Pregnancy Care Nightmare at Our Local GP

The management of this establishment consists of an utterly unscrupulous and cruel group of individuals. My unequivocal recommendation is to steer clear of this facility by any possible means. Due to their profound incompetence, my wife's prenatal care has been entangled in bureaucratic obstacles, preventing us from completing the essential 12-week ultrasound even after she surpassed 18 weeks. The initial scan remains unperformed. The general practitioner repeatedly compelled us to undergo redundant blood tests without referring us to a midwife. Moreover, they deliberately withheld positive blood test results from Friday until Wednesday, despite having the information. Even when we desperately requested details at their reception, they refused to disclose anything verbally or in person. Instead, they brazenly sent a letter claiming we were unreachable by phone on the very day we personally visited their office. It is deeply distressing that such an unempathetic group manages a critically important healthcare service.

They flatly rejected setting up a home consultation for an elderly gentleman suffering from Parkinson's who is unable to travel, despite a paramedic's direct recommendation. This medical practice demonstrates a shocking disregard for vulnerable patients and appears to have zero compassion for those most in need of care. I am so appalled by their callous treatment that I am mere moments away from initiating a formal safeguarding complaint and reporting their unacceptable conduct to the Care Quality Commission.

Risky Video Consult for My Sick Child

Completely disregarding official guidelines mandating in-person consultations! Attempting to conduct a video appointment for a five-year-old with a weakened immune system. The doctor diagnosed a chest infection and prescribed antibiotics without conducting any physical examination, showing zero interest in actually listening to the child's lungs. Recklessly dispensing antibiotics to a vulnerable patient without proper verification of medical necessity. The standard of medical care is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!!

Impossible to Contact My Doctor's Office

Getting in touch with this medical practice is incredibly frustrating. The only viable option is to physically go to their office, as their phone line is constantly busy. Online communication is non-existent, and when you ask about alternatives, they simply direct you to call. For someone like me, actually making it to the surgery in person is completely unfeasible.

Nurse Susan Brown Made My Day

Truly an exceptional medical practice. First and foremost, the reception staff are incredibly warm, compassionate, and supportive. My experiences at FHS have consistently been positive - all medical professionals are outstanding, and they invariably dedicate time to carefully listen and provide maximum assistance, regardless of the patient's concerns. It's remarkable how healthcare workers manage during such challenging times...their resilience is truly astounding. We owe them immense gratitude, pandemic or not. A heartfelt acknowledgment goes to Nurse Susan Brown. She is absolutely remarkable. Having interacted with her numerous times over the years, she always takes the effort to comprehend and comfort me. Each interaction leaves me feeling more reassured, simply from her comforting and knowledgeable demeanor, which is also delightfully lighthearted 😊 An excellent medical facility, and the residents of the Broadgate area are incredibly fortunate to have such a wonderful surgery.

Terrible Healthcare Service at Our Local Surgery

My rating would be zero if possible. For more than two months, I've been unable to see a physician. My elderly disabled mother, who is well into her 60s, hasn't consulted a doctor since Dr. Johnson's departure over a year ago. Chloe, the receptionist, displays utterly unprofessional behavior. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was redirected to an assistant who clearly lacks qualifications, admitting she's only been at the practice for six months and has no understanding of the complaints procedure or pharmacy capabilities. After expressing my discomfort with a specific nurse, she proceeded to insist that everyone likes Nurse Maria, which I know is false, as two receptionists reportedly dislike her due to her condescending attitude towards them in front of patients. I am now left with no alternative but to transfer to a different surgery and file a formal complaint with the NHS board.
