Patients consistently praise the clinical competence and professionalism of medical staff, describing doctors as knowledgeable, caring, and effective in their treatment recommendations. However, significant concerns emerge regarding reception and administrative operations. Booking appointments presents substantial challenges, with patients reporting difficulty reaching the practice by phone, lengthy waiting times on hold, and a narrow booking window that creates accessibility barriers. Reception staff communication frequently falls short of professional standards, with multiple accounts of discourteous behaviour, dismissiveness, and lack of courtesy when handling patient requests.
Operational inefficiencies compound these reception issues. Patients describe prolonged delays in accessing care, administrative processing delays, and inconsistent appointment scheduling practices. Some report being unable to reach the practice despite multiple attempts, while others faced challenges with registration systems and appointment confirmation. A pattern emerges of patients feeling frustrated by the gap between the quality of clinical care and the accessibility and responsiveness of administrative services.
While several patients express satisfaction with their clinical experiences and appreciate the dedication of medical professionals, the recurring themes around booking difficulty, phone access problems, and reception staff conduct suggest systemic administrative challenges that impact overall patient experience and access to care.

Terrible Reception and Impossible Booking System
The staff's attitude is deplorable, treating patients disrespectfully and hanging up on them. The practice manager is perpetually unavailable, and the assistant practice manager seems clueless about the booking system and handling feedback, even suggesting patients leave if unsatisfied. It takes an absurd 5-6 weeks to secure an appointment with a doctor you feel comfortable with, which they claim is standard practice. When attempting to book at 8am, phone lines are overwhelmed by 8:20, with all appointments vanishing instantly, leaving patients hanging with false hope. Upon finally reaching reception, you're told everything is booked and advised to try again tomorrow. Anyone reading patients' comments would recognize the urgent need for staff training. It's truly unfortunate because the doctors are genuinely trying their best. However, success requires a collaborative team effort, and currently, that's severely lacking!!!

Rude Receptionist Ruins Prescription Request
The app erroneously indicated a denial of my repeat prescription, prompting me to contact the medical practice. It turned out the prescription was actually processed and ready at the pharmacy. While technical glitches are understandable, the receptionist's demeanor was shockingly poor. Other reviews echo similar complaints about staff rudeness. As someone working in healthcare, I'm well aware of job stress, but we're consistently trained to maintain professionalism and courtesy. Scheduling an appointment feels like an endless cycle of being told to call back the next day. Despite these administrative frustrations, I must acknowledge that the doctors themselves have consistently been excellent - always helpful, professional, and their treatment recommendations have generally been effective.

Frustrating Weight Loss Journey at This Practice
I've been a patient at this medical practice since early spring, and frustratingly, I've only encountered clinicians, never an actual doctor. It's absolutely absurd how they claim to support patient health goals. When I proudly shared that I've lost 6.5 pounds in a month, their response was dismissive: "You aren't really trying" and insisted I should be losing 2 pounds weekly. Clearly, they fail to understand that weight loss isn't a one-size-fits-all process, and people's bodies respond differently to diet and exercise.

Terrible first impression at the front desk
The front desk staff was incredibly discourteous. She bluntly informed me that even if I completed registration immediately, securing an appointment would be impossible because the system requires THREE TO FOUR days to process and finalize everything.

Trusted Clinic Lost Its Personal Touch
We had been loyal patients at this practice for close to two decades, both myself and my family, but since our beloved general practitioner retired, we felt the new doctors weren't truly attentive to our concerns. It's disappointing because the clinic used to be exceptional.

Doctors Great, But Booking a Nightmare
The medical professionals here are truly excellent, but I believe the front desk personnel require additional training. Their appointment booking phone line has been non-operational for THREE YEARS, and no one has addressed this issue. Moreover, to secure an appointment, you must call precisely at 8am. Imagine if everyone attempted to book at that time and the slots fill up - you're then forced to try again the following day. When you request an appointment with reception, they lack a structured approach, resulting in consultations with various doctors. I personally feel that consistency with one physician allows for better patient understanding. Their administrative system remains unchanged throughout my three-year experience with the practice. The staff are not discourteous, but their operational procedures are EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING.

Mental Health Concerns Dismissed by Rude Staff
The medical professionals at this clinic are highly competent and knowledgeable about various health issues, including mental health conditions. However, the front desk staff are problematic, often displaying an unprofessional attitude and presuming to judge patients' medical needs. I've personally attempted to schedule appointments regarding my mental health, only to be met with dismissive and disrespectful responses suggesting I didn't require medical attention. Having worked in customer service, I understand the importance of treating clients and patients with respect, and their approach falls far short of acceptable standards.
