For nearly a month and a half, I've been battling a persistent respiratory issue. When I approached the reception to schedule a consultation, I received a prompt callback that very day. The physician personally reached out and arranged an in-person appointment for the following morning. I was seen by a compassionate female doctor who carefully examined my lungs, detecting some mild crackling sounds. She promptly prescribed antibiotics and arranged an X-ray. Incredibly, by 4 pm the same day, I completed an efficient 8-minute X-ray at the Fordingbridge facility. I cannot express enough appreciation for the exceptional service and care provided by both medical professionals involved.

Dec 22 A family member experienced a critical health concern, yet the physician deemed it unworthy of a return call. The pharmacy also failed to follow through on their promise to contact us, yet again. Previous review 22 I'm advocating for a worn-out relative who lacks the energy to voice their ongoing frustrations. The consistently subpar service continues, with COVID-19 serving as a convenient excuse. Waiting two days just to schedule a consultation with a non-medical staff member for an appointment weeks away is ridiculous. At least this time someone actually returned the call, unlike the previous instance of complete silence. It's no surprise emergency rooms are overwhelmed when patients are subjected to such abysmal healthcare communication. This isn't an isolated incident.

I've attempted to utilize the new digital platform twice now, but each time I've abandoned it and returned to the traditional phone-based approach, even if it means enduring lengthy wait times. Despite being 77, I consider myself tech-savvy, yet I find this new system unnecessarily convoluted. (My suspicion is that the system was deliberately designed to discourage elderly patients from engaging with the surgery 😂😂😂)
