Phone lines constantly busy and unresponsive

I consistently struggle to reach the practice by phone as the line is frequently engaged and calls go unanswered. I have ongoing concerns that need addressing, but I'm unable to get through to discuss them. I'm frustrated about what appears to be happening with the service provision.

Reception refused basic first aid support

A year ago, I attended this practice for a blood test. During the procedure, I experienced significant discomfort and subsequently fainted for a couple of minutes. I returned today with a minor head injury requesting a plaster. Rather than providing one or offering assistance, the staff directed me to attend hospital instead, despite my request for basic first aid supplies to manage the injury myself. I found this response frustrating.

Hard to get through when you need help

The experience was quite disappointing overall. Appointments with clinical staff are difficult to obtain unless you call at a very early time, regardless of how urgent your situation may be. It takes approximately a week to arrange a telephone consultation with a nurse, and getting through to medical professionals is challenging in general. The practice did not meet expectations in terms of accessibility and responsiveness.

Felt ignored and not informed about appointment cancellation

I had a very negative experience at this practice. I felt treated poorly and not valued as a patient. I attended for an urgent appointment, but was not contacted beforehand as expected. When I called to follow up, I was told the clinician was unavailable. I felt it would have been better to be informed of this situation from the start rather than left waiting and uncertain. I would suggest others consider exploring alternative practices in the area if they have similar concerns.

Struggling to get through on the phone

I frequently call to book appointments and am often told to ring back the following day because the surgery is busy at that time. While the appointment scheduling process has been challenging, I have found the clinical care itself to be satisfactory.

Receptionists chat with you while you wait

The reception staff treat you as an individual rather than simply another appointment to process, and they engage in genuine conversation while you wait if they have the time available, chatting about everyday matters such as your family and how your day has been. The clinical staff demonstrate the same approachable attitude and interact with you on a friendly, informal basis. They manage appointments efficiently and take care to verify that your medication is accurate. They are meticulous in their approach to your healthcare, ensuring they address everything thoroughly and get the details right. I would not consider changing practices under any circumstances.

Reception staff made me feel genuinely welcomed

Everything has been transformed. The team is different and improved. They are incredibly kind and courteous. They treat every patient with respect. I was anxious about visiting the practice. However, I now feel secure and genuinely enjoy coming in. I believe many other patients share my experience of feeling valued by the staff members here.🙏🙏🙏
