Patient Experience Summary

Appointment access remains the most significant challenge reported across feedback, with patients consistently describing difficulties securing consultations through multiple channels including phone, online booking systems, and in-person requests. Long waiting times on phone lines, often exceeding an hour, combined with limited same-day availability and complex advance booking procedures, create substantial barriers to care. Reception experience varies considerably, with some staff members praised for exceptional courtesy and responsiveness, while others are frequently cited as displaying dismissive or unhelpful attitudes. Communication gaps emerge as a recurring concern, including missed callbacks, unclear procedures, and insufficient information about treatments or processes.

Clinical care experiences are mixed, with select doctors and nurses receiving recognition for compassionate and professional service, while others face criticism regarding attentiveness and clinical competence. Positive feedback highlights smooth online booking systems when functional, timely referrals, and supportive reception interactions. However, the overall pattern suggests systemic operational challenges that undermine patient confidence, particularly around appointment availability and the consistency of care experience across different staff members and service touchpoints.

Serious medical oversights lead to family's suffering

We've encountered two deeply troubling incidents with this medical practice. Our daughter reported a neck lump, and despite multiple attempts to contact the surgery and undergo telephone consultations, they initially failed to refer her for proper examination. We persistently advocated for her to see a physician, and eventually a locum doctor agreed to arrange hospital referral, where she was ultimately diagnosed with cancer. She is currently undergoing treatment. In a separate instance, our son repeatedly complained about stomach pain, and each time he reached out to the surgery, they dismissed his concerns, merely offering phone advice and prescribing Movicol. When the pain became unbearably severe, we took him to hospital Urgent Care, where doctors discovered a massive fluid-filled cyst in his abdomen, approximately the size of a watermelon. Addressing this required three separate surgical procedures, and he remains in the recovery phase.

Terrible service at this frustrating medical practice

This GP Surgery is absolutely the most terrible one in London. Their staff are incredibly unprofessional and discourteous. Securing a medical appointment here is practically unachievable. If you attempt to book in person, they flat-out refuse you. Online booking? Rejected. Even when you telephone and are among the first few callerss in the queue, they claim all daily appointments are fully booked and dismissively tell you to try again another day!

Worst pharmacy experience ever terrible service nightmare

I wish there was an option for negative ratings. This isn't a medical facility; it's more like gambling. They mishandle prescription orders and blame the doctors for not signing them. On a Friday before a long weekend, they claim it'll be ready in thirty minutes, but they won't be open again until Tuesday, and the prescription still isn't completed. This means I'll be without my medication for days. What am I supposed to do now?

Endless waiting nightmare at doctor's surgery

Stuck waiting yet again, following my initial 30-minute call, I'm now 38 minutes into another attempt, and I'm still second in line for the queue. It's incredibly frustrating—how on earth is anyone expected to successfully reach their doctor's office like this???

Terrible service and unprofessional medical staff

Their phone support is consistently unresponsive, and scheduling a consultation seems impossible. I've spent countless minutes, often exceeding an hour, waiting in their queue, eventually forced to hang up. The reception staff display an arrogant attitude, treating customers with disdain as if they were beneath them. My limited interaction with their surgical services has been thoroughly unimpressive. I strongly advise potential patients to avoid this practice entirely.

Dangerous nurse practices put my baby at risk

The nursing staff at this facility desperately requires retraining. The nurse named Stella demonstrates a complete lack of understanding regarding health and safety protocols. Her comprehension of basic hygiene appears to be nonexistent. During the vaccination process, I witnessed her carelessly handling white tape, placing it on the table and then reattaching it to her own hand. Subsequently, she administered an injection to my infant and applied those same contaminated tape pieces directly onto my baby's skin. I was utterly horrified by her actions, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is unacceptable that a primary care nurse cannot distinguish between hygienic and unhygienic practices. The level of unprofessionalism is shocking. Moreover, her interaction with my child prior to giving the injection was completely inappropriate. Their conduct is genuinely frightening and erodes patient confidence. This nurse urgently needs to repeat her entire nursing training program to learn basic professional standards and patient care techniques.

I rang the office at 8:12 AM and was informed a GP would contact me by 4 PM. Unsurprisingly, no call ever came. I am genuinely astounded that this medical practice continues to operate under such abysmal conditions.

Endless wait for medical appointment drives me crazy

Absolutely dreadful experience attempting to contact this medical practice. I've been their patient for decades, and I've never encountered such poor service. Today, I've been stuck waiting on hold for close to two hours just to schedule an appointment. As someone with a full-time job, I've been dedicating all my breaks and spare moments to trying to reach them. I'm convinced the reception staff deliberately abandon their phones during lunch, as I remained first in the queue for a solid hour without any response!

Frustrating phone service that wastes my time

I spent 20 minutes on hold at position 1, only to be greeted by an automated message saying they couldn't take my call and then disconnecting. I tried again, waiting 30 minutes in different queue positions, until someone finally answered. When I inquired about the excessive wait times, their response was simply that I needed to complete an online form. Their excuse? "We have a phone system problem." This is unacceptable. If you're aware of an ongoing issue, fix it instead of leaving customers frustrated. This problem has persisted even before the pandemic, and their service has consistently been poor. The worst decision was merging with the downstairs medical practice. Previously, when it was just the upstairs clinic, I always managed to quickly reach helpful staff. Now, the entire experience is incredibly disappointing.
