I find it challenging to articulate my feelings verbally, as speaking about them makes them feel more tangible, whereas keeping things private and maintaining my usual routine feels more manageable. In my view, the clinician I saw demonstrates exceptional dedication to patient care. They genuinely listen to what patients express and collaborate to achieve the best possible results. They demonstrate kindness, empathy, and are someone you can rely on to advocate for your wellbeing. I value consistency and prefer to see the same healthcare provider, someone I can place complete confidence in, even if it means waiting a couple of weeks for a routine appointment. I have been registered at this practice for a considerable time and have encountered multiple clinicians and administrative staff during my time here. I find it disheartening to see some of the critical feedback about this surgery. Everyone deserves quality healthcare for themselves and their loved ones, and based on my experience this practice delivers excellent care. I have never experienced difficulty obtaining an appointment, and I have consistently found the reception team to be extremely supportive, particularly given that they often bear the brunt of people's frustrations. You can still communicate your needs effectively while treating staff with respect. There is too much negativity around us, and the team at this surgery are all wonderful. I think people sometimes overlook the fact that these are human beings with genuine emotions.

Receptionists and doctors who genuinely listen
I have been a patient at this practice for over 35 years. I can without hesitation, and unapologetically commend them for providing exemplary individual care. They stand apart from the trend that many of my friends experience with frequent criticism of their healthcare providers. The practice staff, from receptionists to nursing team to doctors to practice managers, genuinely care about their patients and the support they provide. Not only are appointments made available in a timely manner, but where needed, follow-up support is systematically offered. Unlike many of my friends, I have never felt that I am burdening them with my concerns or that during consultations, I should rush through. As a patient managing a recurring health condition, I feel strongly that because of the swift and accurate clinical attention I have received, it has made a significant difference to my wellbeing and outcomes. Online booking system needs improvement
The practice itself is excellent, however the new online system has significant issues. Previously, booking appointments by phone was straightforward and efficient. The process for obtaining repeat medications through the new system is problematic, with delays that are frustrating. After a week, the prescription authorisation still hasn't been completed, and this is the second occasion this has occurred. Due to the extended wait times, I'm considering alternative options online. This experience has prompted me to explore other surgeries as an alternative.
