Excellent!
Felt genuinely reassured during a worrying health moment
I cannot speak too highly of the paramedic at this practice. Two weeks ago I came to the surgery with a health concern, which at the time I didn't realise was as serious as it was. I quickly became scared and anxious but the staff member was lovely, going above and beyond to reassure me and put me at ease. They explained everything to me and my daughter clearly and made me feel safe and looked after. In a scary situation, their gentle caring bedside manner made us all feel much more relaxed and less frightened. I am so grateful to them.

Difficult to get hospital referrals now
Disorganised and disappointing. I've been attending this surgery since childhood and it's changed dramatically for the worse. There was a previous clinician who showed genuine care for patients and focused on resolving issues rather than just managing symptoms. They retired some years ago. I only visit doctors when absolutely necessary. I recently attended seeking an appointment to obtain a hospital referral for throat surgery, but the current clinician was unwilling to help with this request at the practice location. After more than ten years as a registered patient, I've decided it's time to find a different surgery. Not recommended. The level of care and concern for patient wellbeing appears to be lacking.

Same day appointment eased our worry
Our young child woke up experiencing ear discomfort and was crying. My partner contacted the practice to request an urgent appointment and was pleased to find that a same-day slot became available after a brief wait. The clinician was very compassionate with our child and provided us with helpful guidance along with a prescription. We had an excellent experience on this visit and would like to express our sincere gratitude to the entire team!

Experienced doctors have left, service declined
Only 1 star, not worthy of even one. But all I can say is this surgery was the best when the previous clinicians were at this practice…..best doctors ever!! Now the doctors seem unqualified & inexperienced & rude!!

Excellent!
Felt heard and supported during appointment
Just wanted to share about my amazing experience at the surgery where I saw a clinician and a member of the nursing staff. I brought my young child with me to the appointment for a procedure and the clinician was so accommodating and thorough during the whole consultation despite my child becoming unsettled midway through. They were so lovely it really helped put me and my child at ease. Can't fault the surgery and they are such a credit to the establishment!

Received support and kindness despite the wait
Like all aspects of life, not everything at medical surgeries will go exactly as we might hope, and experiences will vary from person to person—some positive and some less so. It's important to remember that the staff working in these facilities are there to support us and are human beings, not machines. Mistakes can happen, and things don't always go smoothly. The team doesn't intentionally cause frustration or delays; they work hard under considerable pressure and challenging circumstances every single day. Like many other surgeries, they do their best. So approach your visits with patience and be a cooperative patient. Over the past couple of years, I've had to contact the surgery several times regarding various health concerns and have been met with remarkable support on each occasion. I also attended an emergency appointment and was seen an hour after my scheduled time. Was I frustrated? Yes. Was I annoyed? Yes. Did I consider leaving? Yes. But I didn't, as my impatience was really the issue, something we all experience from time to time. I'm glad I stayed because I was given the opportunity to fully describe and explain my condition. I was treated with genuine kindness and compassion, and the staff gave me considerable time—time that was likely meant for the next patient—yet I never felt rushed or pressured. I did try to move things along myself, aware that someone else was probably waiting, as these delays have a ripple effect. This is an exceptionally busy surgery doing their best during difficult times, so please be kind, patient, and understanding with the staff. That's the very least they deserve. Remember, they are helping you, so help them too.

Receptionist helped me get to the bottom of things
This medical practice is excellent and has maintained high standards of care even during difficult periods, consistently striving to ensure patient satisfaction. A clinician at the surgery successfully identified the underlying cause of my symptoms, which included fatigue, difficulty standing for extended periods, dizziness upon standing, unintended weight loss, reduced appetite, and oral discomfort. The oral symptom proved particularly helpful in guiding the clinician towards reaching a diagnosis. I am grateful for the thorough care provided by this practice.
