Terrible customer service at local medical practice

I endured incredibly long wait times today - 40 minutes this morning and another 35 minutes this afternoon - only to be treated with shocking disrespect by the receptionist when attempting to schedule a blood test. My husband has been receiving blood work at this GP for nearly a decade without any complications, so this experience was completely unexpected. The receptionist actually laughed at me and then told me not to "shoot the messenger" when I expressed my frustration. Furthermore, they claimed the asthma nurse tried calling me twice yesterday, which is entirely false - I am not asthmatic and have no missed calls on my phone. I'm utterly bewildered by what has happened to this medical practice, but it's clear the quality of service has dramatically deteriorated.

I'm compelled to express my frustration with the reception team, who appear distinctly unhelpful. Attempting to contact the surgery is an absolute ordeal! I find myself repeatedly trying to get them to review emails from my surgeon regarding medication refills that I urgently need. Despite waiting on hold for half an hour, I remain completely uninformed and no closer to resolving my issue.

Undoubtedly one of the most appalling medical practices I've encountered. Fortunately, I've since switched to a different surgery after my young child endured more than 7 months of illness with zero assistance from Green Lane Surgery. Never in my life have I experienced such discourteous and unprofessional staff - with employees like these, the doctors stand no chance of providing quality care!

Terrible customer service at medical reception desk

I've spent an exhausting hour on hold, desperately trying to reach a receptionist. Frustrated, I decided to physically visit the location while still connected on the phone. Upon arrival, I was stunned to find the "receptionist" casually engaged in a leisurely conversation. I immediately confronted them, loudly demanding to know why no one was answering the phones, pointedly displaying my phone screen showing the ongoing unanswered call. To the leadership of this Surgery department, I urgently request immediate contact regarding this unacceptable situation. Thanks 👍🏻

Getting an appointment at this medical practice is a constant struggle. You're forced to repeatedly contact the doctors just to secure a consultation, and when you finally do manage to schedule one, it's typically weeks down the line. Moreover, the front desk staff persistently interrogates you about the reason for your visit, making the entire process frustrating and time-consuming.

Terrible customer service from unprofessional practice manager

Completely stunned by the unprofessional behavior of the practice manager I contacted regarding a scheduling issue. When I called to address being told an appointment was made but wasn't, the manager incredibly shifted blame onto me. She offered no apology, constantly interrupted my explanation, and accused me of talking for an excessive duration, claiming this caused the missed booking - which is absolutely untrue. Her approach was extremely discourteous. She desperately needs training in basic customer service etiquette. When I sought her name, she dismissively claimed I'd already been apologized to earlier and implied I was being unreasonable. Her conduct was totally unacceptable.
