Feedback across this file reveals significant and persistent challenges with reception experience, appointment access, and communication. Patients consistently report difficulty reaching the practice by phone, with extended waiting times to connect and calls being terminated without resolution. Appointment booking and cancellation practices emerge as major concerns, with patients describing last-minute cancellations, inconsistent policies around late arrivals, and difficulty securing available slots. Reception staff conduct is frequently cited as discourteous and unhelpful, with patients describing dismissive attitudes and lack of responsiveness to inquiries.
Communication barriers extend beyond phone access to include poor coordination around appointment confirmations, unclear instructions, and limited alternative contact methods. Patients report feeling dismissed when raising concerns and describe interactions lacking in courtesy and respect. Several reviews note that follow-up commitments are not honoured, and patients experience frustration when attempting to reschedule or obtain information about their care.
While a small number of reviews acknowledge skilled physicians and positive experiences with health screening and nursing staff, these positive elements are substantially outweighed by widespread dissatisfaction with administrative processes and overall care experience. The combination of phone access difficulties, appointment availability constraints, and reception experience issues creates a pattern of service challenges that has prompted many patients to seek alternative providers.

I have various things wrong with me copd, high cholesterol etc I asked today if I could make a non urgent appointment to speak to a GP about about several things like the vibration in my right foot how bad my copd is getting, possible blood tests for diabetes etc was told I can't do that anymore I had to call at 8.30am for appointment, I was also told by a GP that they couldn't investigate me having arthritis in various parts of my body due to the damage it would do to me getting x rays! I know it's a blood test, they treat you as if you are uneducated also GP who i was given as a phone call, who i had never met told me I didn't need medication as I'm not bi polar even though I've had 2 diagnosis in my past. Just the worst care ever, I have spoken to a lawyer about the lack of care by this incompetent GP surgery

Rudra's terrible attitude ruined my appointment
If zero stars were an option, this review would be it. Dr. Aneeka Rudra couldn't be bothered to offer any treatment—seemingly more focused on cultivating her terrible demeanor. Gratuitously discourteous and completely ineffective in every aspect. This practice represents the ultimate blueprint for medical incompetence. The single star rating is already far more kindness than they deserve. Total embarrassment.

Rafila's harsh welcome at green practice
I recently contacted Green Practice regarding my infant, and my interaction with Rafila was absolutely appalling. The moment I attempted to explain that I was uncertain about my baby's potential allergies and needed medical consultation, she became aggressive and began yelling at me. Before I could fully articulate my concerns, she rudely cut me off mid-sentence. The staff's behavior was incredibly unprofessional—they seemed more like wild creatures communicating aggressively rather than healthcare professionals dealing with patients. It's as if they're completely unaware they're operating in a civilized environment like England, where basic courtesy is expected.

Receptionists make decisions so you may not be able to see anyone professional. They also speak each other in their own language in front of patients so not sure whether they are talking bad about patients or just chatting each other.

Heartless response to my bereavement request
I am utterly appalled by this practice's abysmal service. When I contacted them seeking a bereavement certificate required by my employer, the receptionist informed me the doctor must approve it. An hour later, a discourteous woman called back stating the doctor rejected my request because I had obtained a comparable certificate two years prior. Without showing any empathy or seeking additional context, she attempted to portray me as unreasonable, claiming the doctor instructed me to cease calling and wasting their time. Is this truly how a medical practice responds to someone grieving a recent family loss? The service is absolutely disgraceful. Both the doctors and reception staff demonstrate complete incompetence and a shocking lack of compassion.

Rude staff and wrong medication nightmare
I've never experienced a more appalling medical practice in my life, and I'm firmly convinced it deserves complete closure. The moment I entered, the front desk staff were shockingly discourteous and wholly unprofessional. They demonstrated absolute indifference and contempt, treating me as an inconvenience rather than a person seeking medical help. Their communication was manipulative, with contradictory statements at every opportunity. Adding to the nightmare, the physician prescribed medication completely inappropriate for my medical condition. It's abundantly evident they neither listen attentively nor conduct thorough patient assessments. The standard of care and professional conduct here is utterly non-existent. Steer clear of this practice as if your survival depends on it—and in my personal experience, it genuinely might. I will never set foot in this place again and strongly urge others to follow suit.

Rude reception staff ruined my healthcare visit
This service desperately requires a diverse workforce. Currently, there's a clique of women controlling the operations. The service quality is extremely subpar. Staff demonstrate zero compassion towards patients. The reception personnel consistently deliver terrible customer interactions. They frequently respond dismissively with statements like "I don't care about your perspective. We follow company policy." Patients aren't seeking medical services as entertainment. It's incredibly disrespectful to hide behind policy and procedural language when patients ask straightforward questions. This toxic reception team culture must be dismantled and replaced with a multicultural team to improve overall service delivery.

Terrible reception and zero compassion
Over the past 2-3 years, I've experienced five consecutive instances of subpar service. Despite my attempts to be understanding, I've reached my breaking point. The reception staff consistently ignore incoming calls, yet paradoxically become extremely rigid and aggressive if patients arrive even slightly late, insisting on prior notification while their own phone rings unanswered. I've maintained a patient and courteous approach, and witnessed others do the same, but to no avail - they simply disregard and steamroll everyone. I've observed how their treatment ultimately drives patients to frustration, sometimes resulting in regrettable outbursts, which naturally compounds the problem. They operate without a proper complaints mechanism, essentially functioning like an unchecked monopolistic entity. One would hope that prison guards might demonstrate more compassion and humanity - though in this case, that seems optimistic. Fortunately, I can finally transition to another practice, a move I've been contemplating for an extended period.

Dismissive doctor made me change surgeries
A complete disaster of a medical practice! I was struggling with several health complications and sought medical assistance, but instead of providing help, I was repeatedly dismissed and told to take painkillers. Ultimately, they scheduled me with Dr. D'Souza, who demonstrated extreme unprofessionalism and bluntly stated, "I don't want to see you again". Medical visits are already stressful, and her callous attitude only worsened my emotional state, forcing me to seek care elsewhere. After switching surgeries, my new medical team has not only performed comprehensive diagnostic tests but has also initiated proper treatment—something THE GREEN PRACTICE utterly failed to do! I am thoroughly disgusted and let down by their substandard care.

Appointment canceled without warning
I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Singh a month in advance, but upon arrival, I was informed that my appointment had been unexpectedly cancelled. After enduring a lengthy wait to secure this slot, they failed to honor our agreed time. The lack of professionalism, particularly from Dr. Dsouza, was appalling. As a result, I am compelled to seek medical care elsewhere due to their disrespectful treatment and complete disregard for my time and health needs.

Terrible surgery with racist receptionists
This medical practice exclusively caters to patients with a single medical condition. Should you have multiple health issues, they become uncooperative. The receptionists turn hostile on the phone, start ignoring calls, and when you arrive in person, they demand you leave. The front desk staff act like immature schoolchildren, chatting in their native language, exchanging smirks and giggles. They begin accusing patients of wasting their time. The physicians (Dr. DeSouza and Dr. Singh) arbitrarily cancel appointments without patient consultation and schedule visits without consent. Subsequently, they penalize patients by issuing notices to seek alternative healthcare providers. This was my personal experience. Or perhaps their bias extends to a 40-year-old male of Portuguese/Angolan heritage. The sole professional who demonstrates competence is the blood-drawing nurse. This is likely because her interaction with receptionists and doctors is minimal.

Waited 40 minutes past scheduled time
I cannot endorse this service - they scheduled a visit for 12:40 and I ended up waiting 40 minutes, which is completely unacceptable. Their lack of coordination and communication is appalling. The entire experience was disorganized and chaotic from start to finish.

Rude receptionist ruined my first call
I suggest you take a closer look at your front desk staff's conduct. The receptionist displayed a distinctly unprofessional demeanor during my initial contact since relocating to Hounslow. She was dismissive and failed to provide clear, comprehensive information or demonstrate active listening. Having worked in healthcare myself, I understand the critical role receptionists play in shaping a patient's initial perception of a medical practice.

Long wait for a missed appointment
I endured a frustrating wait of more than a week for my appointment at Green Practice in Hounslow. My scheduled time was 10 AM, and I arrived early at 9:50. During the booking process, no one mentioned the requirement to personally check in with reception upon arrival. The only communication I received was a simple confirmation of the appointment, with instructions to notify them if I couldn't attend. Surprisingly, at 10:10, I got a text claiming I had missed my appointment, despite being present since 9:50. The receptionist completely disregarded my explanation and stubbornly maintained that I was at fault. I strongly believe the clinic should have clearly communicated the need to re-register at reception, particularly given my confirmed appointment. The reception service was absolutely abysmal; instead of offering help, the staff merely criticized me and insisted it was my error. They offered no solution beyond scheduling another appointment for the following week! Based on this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend this facility to anyone.

Unhelpful doctors when mum was sick
My mother contracted covid, so I reached out to her medical practice, and a physician prescribed antibiotics. After taking the first dose, she immediately vomited. When I called back to discuss this, the receptionist was unhelpful, stating that no doctor at the practice would speak with us and insisting we contact the NHS 111 service. Absolutely appalling.

Nightmare with my gp's blood test policy
Update: after they declined my blood test, they halted my medication, citing my failure to undergo the test, and I wasn't even given a chance for a new blood test. How am I supposed to obtain my medical treatment? Someone ought to shut down this GP practice.

Worst first screening ever at clinic
I'd give them a negative rating if possible. Completely and utterly worthless. Provided zero assistance during my appointment Offered no support after my appointment Couldn't even handle a straightforward 111 referral The front desk staff gave me absolutely no guidance about my upcoming cervical screening or how to prepare, then the nurse criticized me for not being ready. She proceeded to criticize my birth control method, suggesting I should simply use condoms and "rely on my body's natural rhythms" Incredibly unprofessional behavior

Frustrating wait and dismissive staff at clinic
Elevator coordination is terrible, creating unpredictability. Medical staff, from physicians to nurses, seem equally unhelpful. The reception staff flatly rejected my blood test when I arrived 30 minutes past my scheduled time, despite being wheelchair-bound and at high risk for blood clots.

Terrible reception at my mum's medical practice
My mother enrolled at this medical practice, and despite her intense joint discomfort, the administrative staff is completely unhelpful. They only communicate what suits them, showing no genuine interest in listening or assisting patients. While one receptionist seems competent, the others appear incapable of providing any meaningful support. Their approach is incredibly discourteous, abruptly ending phone conversations and demonstrating a total lack of compassion. Their behavior is so unprofessional that they don't even deserve their positions.

Worst medical care ever at green practice
This green practice deserves zero stars, absolutely nothing. The staff are incredibly unprofessional and their service is abysmal. They appear completely clueless and oblivious, repeatedly claiming "we understand" without any genuine comprehension. This facility desperately needs to shut down or recruit competent professionals who actually understand patient needs. The doctors are embarrassingly incompetent, openly searching Google in front of patients for symptoms and ultimately just prescribing paracetamol. I had heard rumors about this terrible practice, but experiencing it firsthand confirmed everything. They are utterly unprofessional and deserve no respect whatsoever, as they show no respect to patients or people. It feels like they deliberately punish patients, creating a deeply harassing environment. Someone should definitely take legal action against this disgraceful green practice.
