Patient feedback reveals a mixed experience across the practice, with significant variation in service quality. Positive feedback highlights courteous and welcoming reception staff, compassionate doctors who listen attentively to concerns, and clear communication about procedures and treatment plans. Several patients report long-term loyalty to the practice, citing professional care and genuine warmth from specific clinicians. However, substantial concerns emerge around appointment access and waiting experience, with patients reporting extended waits without acknowledgment or apology, difficulty securing appointments, and ineffective telephone booking systems. Reception experience is inconsistent, with some staff praised for helpfulness while others are described as unwelcoming, dismissive, or unhelpful when patients contact the practice.
Communication gaps and rushed consultations feature prominently in negative feedback, alongside concerns about inadequate facilities and poor organisation. Some patients report feeling dismissed or receiving insufficient examination, whilst others describe reception staff providing inaccurate information. A minority of reviews raise serious concerns about clinical care, record management, and responsiveness to patient needs. The practice environment itself is occasionally described as dated or cramped, though some patients note it is clean and welcoming despite modest facilities.
The feedback suggests the practice has pockets of excellent care and dedicated staff members who build strong patient relationships over many years, yet systemic challenges around appointment availability, waiting times, and consistency of service delivery require attention to improve the overall patient experience.

Terrible service and unhelpful medical centre staff
I came to this medical center specifically seeking a female physician, which meant leaving two of my children with my in-laws. Despite my efforts, I arrived 10 minutes late. I was provided a contact number, but the person on the line was completely unhelpful. When I approached the receptionist, she claimed the doctor had already decided not to see me until her next scheduled patient, even though the doctor wasn't even present. The entire experience was extremely frustrating. The facility itself was cramped, with only four seats available for patients. The receptionist showed zero willingness to assist me and made no attempt to communicate with the doctor about my situation.

Worst medical care ever experienced in my life
Completely incompetent and worthless establishment. Whenever you present a medical issue, they merely glance at the time and dismiss your concerns. I'm convinced this is some sort of financial scam operation. Their primary focus seems to be avoiding prescribing any medication rather than actually diagnosing or treating your condition. Utterly disgraceful and infuriating 💦

Worst medical practice ever avoid at all costs
ZERO STARS WOULD BE AN OVERSTATEMENT. What a disastrous medical practice. Their lack of professionalism and personal attention is utterly appalling. The manager consistently avoids direct communication to address issues, while the reception staff remain equally clueless, merely following the incompetent leadership. This GP practice desperately needs a complete staff overhaul or should just shut down entirely. They've completely destroyed their own reputation.

Terrible medical record management puts child at risk
What an absolute nightmare of a medical practice. I registered my son four months back, presenting his passport and health record. They conducted his blood test and standard medical examination. Subsequently, we received a communication from the GP with an incorrect name. We returned with his documentation to rectify the error. The front desk staff assured us the issue was resolved. However, we've now received another appointment letter with the same incorrect name, and shockingly, they've completely lost his medical records and recent blood test results. I am seriously considering launching a comprehensive investigation, as this level of medical negligence is unacceptable and potentially dangerous, especially if such carelessness occurred with a patient facing critical health challenges.

Worst medical service ever terrible experience
The service here is absolutely terrible. Steer clear at all costs. It's disgraceful that taxpayer money supports such a subpar operation. I encountered a doctor who was dismissive and refused to conduct a proper examination. They barely listened to my concerns and seemed to diagnose me based on a single, brief interaction, leaving me feeling belittled and inconvenient. On another occasion, I had a scheduled 12 o'clock appointment but was not seen. By 12:30, I inquired about my wait time, mentioning I had another commitment. The response was hostile and rude, with staff curtly stating I would be seen by the nurse when it was my turn, despite my appointment being long overdue. No apology was offered, nor any attempt to provide a wait time estimate. When I requested to speak with a manager, I was told everyone manages themselves and no one was available to assist me! Perhaps a dedicated service manager would improve their inefficient system. Moreover, the waiting area was woefully inadequate, with only 4 seats for 12 standing patients in a cramped space. This is unacceptable for a medical facility, especially with COVID-19 posing ongoing health risks to vulnerable community members. Proper scheduling would have prevented such dangerous crowding and potential virus transmission. The Care Quality Commission should thoroughly investigate this place. This practice urgently needs significant improvement.

Terrible healthcare experience with dismissive doctor
I was experiencing frequent health issues, falling sick approximately every month. After completing a two-week medication course, I contacted the clinic again because the treatment was ineffective. Their response was dismissive, claiming that getting ill monthly is somehow "NORMAL." It seems this general practitioner is solely focused on rushing through appointments, showing minimal concern for the patient's genuine health concerns. Utterly unprofessional behavior.

Worst healthcare experience ever terrible service
I'd gladly assign a zero rating if possible, but I'm forced to select a 1 for this review. Their customer service is absolutely abysmal, with staff consistently responding "I can't" to every inquiry. The level of incompetence and indifference displayed is utterly ridiculous. It's abundantly clear that this organization is managed by completely incompetent individuals who show zero genuine concern for those they're supposed to be serving.

Mostly great doctors with one to avoid
I've been a patient at this medical practice for many years, and I cannot praise Dr Soomro, Dr Gopi, and Dr Khanna enough. They are exceptional doctors who genuinely listen to my concerns and are incredibly patient during our brief consultations. However, Dr Hadeel is a GP I would strongly advise avoiding. In every consultation I've had with her, I've found her to be disinterested in patients' concerns, constantly interrupting when I try to explain my issues, and demonstrating a clear lack of empathy. I've only booked appointments with her due to the difficulty in securing slots with other doctors or long waiting times. I will definitely heed her own advice and not book with her again in the future, as she comes across as rude and completely uncompassionate towards patients. She could learn a great deal from the other GPs in the practice. I also want to highlight that the receptionists, particularly Anita and Sara, have consistently been kind and helpful.

Unprofessional doctor ruins patient's healthcare experience
Hey there, Just like previous reviewers, I must be candid; the reception staff were decent. However, the core issue was Dr. Loiziana's unprofessional behavior - refusing to see me despite arriving just 11 minutes late, even though their policy allows a 15-minute grace period. Moreover, even if you arrive precisely on time, you'll still endure a 20-30 minute wait, which apparently suits her schedule but not patients' needs. I overheard her dismissively saying: "No, next time... I don't want to see him now." Are you kidding me? I disrupted my work schedule, traveled at my own expense, and Dr. Loiziana essentially communicates: "I'm comfortable, I don't care about your circumstances." I'd rate this a 0 out of 10 for Dr. Loiziana, who seems motivated solely by her paycheck rather than patient care. Her unprofessional attitude is shameful. To be fair, other doctors like Dr. Akuji were excellent. But if you encounter Loiziana's name on the booking - sprint away and choose another physician immediately.

Worst medical centre ever absolute disaster
My encounter at Greengate Medical Centre was an absolute disaster. If a zero-star rating were possible, I'd assign it without hesitation. The physicians at this practice appear completely incompetent and should immediately face professional deregistration. The nursing staff are equally problematic - rather than concentrating on medical care, they seem more interested in intrusive personal interrogations about your family background and relationship status. Such behavior is not just unprofessional, but deeply inappropriate. I have significant concerns regarding the reliability of my cervical screening, and I'm certain many others share these reservations. To compound matters, the reception team is equally dreadful. They demonstrate rudeness, carelessness, and a consistent pattern of appointment errors. When challenged about their mistakes, they respond with arrogance and defensiveness, implying patients are somehow at fault. This conduct is completely unacceptable for healthcare professionals. The residents of Plaistow deserve far superior medical care. Anyone concerned about their health should absolutely steer clear of this facility. The entire staff at Greengate epitomize the most egregious failures within the NHS healthcare system.

Caring doctors and staff make patient feel heard
The front desk staff are incredibly courteous, friendly, and professional. The medical practitioners are attentive and take the time to explain details thoroughly, ensuring mutual comprehension without being condescending. They genuinely want to confirm they've grasped my concerns accurately before determining a treatment approach. Scheduling slots are accessible. Occasionally, you might initially need to accept a teleconsultation, and after discussing your situation with the physician, an in-person visit can be arranged if deemed necessary.

Unethical medical practice with zero patient compassion
The quality of service here has deteriorated significantly, and I'm eager to find a new healthcare provider with genuine compassion and professional integrity! Recently, a male physician declined to conduct an examination without a chaperone present... Moreover, despite being fully aware of my challenging financial and housing circumstances, the doctors demanded £30 for a simple housing support document. The audacity is simply unbelievable.

Heartless receptionist ruins healthcare experience
Absolutely horrific medical practice! Steer clear at all costs! When I arrived with severe tonsillitis, barely able to speak and having barely eaten for a week, I was hoping for some compassion. Being new to the UK and not yet registered with NHS, I simply needed medical guidance. Instead, the receptionist was incredibly hostile. She aggressively shouted that without registration, they would provide zero assistance, completely disregarding my obvious suffering. When I desperately asked for alternative options, she coldheartedly directed me to the hospital without even providing basic directions, sarcastically suggesting I use GoogleMaps to find my way. I sincerely hope she experiences similar treatment someday and understands the pain of being vulnerable and dismissed. As a postscript, my condition was so serious that upon reaching the hospital, I was immediately admitted and required a minimum two-night stay.
