Couldn't get appointments without camping outside early
EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!!! The team appears to be unhelpful! I booked appointments with specific requirements. This was due to my mobility needs and in the case of my child, who has additional support needs, yet the service fell short. I booked an appointment for my child to receive a flu vaccine via injection as they cannot tolerate the nasal spray option, but the staff member refused to administer the injection, stating they "don't inject younger patients". They then attributed the booking error to the reception team. The same staff member who previously was unable to take my blood pressure reading without using the machine and a larger cuff, but the machine was not functioning. They then declined to perform a manual reading instead. I am now questioning whether they possess the necessary qualifications, as they were unable to provide two straightforward services to either myself or my child. To secure an appointment with a doctor, you essentially need to arrive before the surgery opens or face an extremely low chance of being seen, or possibly waiting several weeks later—even for urgent health concerns affecting your child! My family and I live very close to the surgery but are seriously considering registering with a different practice. COMPLETELY INADEQUATE

The frustration is compounded by observations during in-person visits, where reception staff appear to be engaged in conversation with one another rather than managing incoming calls. This approach suggests insufficient attention to patient needs and communication priorities. Time-sensitive matters warrant prompt attention, and the current phone accessibility and staff engagement appear to fall short of what patients should reasonably expect. Patients should receive responsive communication and a professional standard of service.

This practice has been extremely disappointing. I've struggled to secure appointments, and the staff don't seem particularly concerned about patient needs. When I've managed to get through by phone, I've had to wait considerable lengths of time, and the call was disconnected before I could properly communicate my concerns. Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience.

However, I find it very difficult to secure doctor appointments, and since the pandemic, availability has become increasingly limited, which is unfortunate as this practice was previously among the better ones I've experienced.

This GP practice has significant issues with appointment management. Cancellations occur without any notification through text or email, leaving patients unaware of changes. When attempting to reschedule or book same-day appointments by phone, availability is consistently limited. During a recent call attempt starting before opening time, there was no response for an extended period after the practice opened. Despite operating multiple locations, there appears to be poor coordination between the different branches. The overall experience suggests considerable room for improvement in communication and appointment handling. Registration with this practice is not recommended.
