Terrible service and unhelpful medical staff

I called three weeks back to schedule an appointment and was informed there are no available slots until September. A three-month wait to consult a physician is completely unacceptable, especially considering the number of doctors they have on staff. I was forced to use this practice because I relocated from a previous surgery with just one doctor where you could get an appointment within days. During my most recent visit, the doctor actually looked up my symptoms online, which was quite amusing. The reception staff are consistently unhelpful and impolite, and they provide no meaningful alternatives or support when you express concerns about such a lengthy waiting period, particularly when you're experiencing ongoing pain.

Frustrating administrative experience at medical practice

Despite the physicians being wonderful, the administrative team requires significant improvement. Requests often necessitate multiple repetitions before being addressed. We experienced a missed opportunity for antenatal vaccinations and were compelled to seek alternative care because the administrative staff promised initial contact during the flu vaccine period, which never materialized. I recognize the high patient volume, but dismissing patient communication simply due to practice size demonstrates a profound lack of empathy and care.

Compassionate nurse made my diabetes check amazing

I attended my diabetes consultation with Laura on 28/2/19 and cannot speak highly enough of her. Her warm, welcoming smile immediately helped calm my nerves as an anxious patient. I've been dedicated to improving my health and have been seeing positive progress. Laura enthusiastically acknowledged these achievements and helped me feel genuinely accomplished. Despite her youth, Laura demonstrates remarkable interpersonal and professional abilities. She is an incredible asset to an already excellent healthcare facility.

Terrible service destroying mental health support needs

I am utterly dismayed by the abysmal service I encountered today. Since 8am, I've been consistently informed that no appointments are available, a response I've heard throughout the entire week. Struggling with anxiety and depression, even getting out of bed has become an insurmountable challenge, especially given the current weather conditions. When I asked the receptionist what steps I should take, given my inability to wait until Monday for another dismissal, she claimed ignorance and suggested I call back then. After contacting 111, they informed me a 24-hour notice had been sent for an urgent consultation. I subsequently called back, and was assured someone would arrange an emergency appointment. At 11am, I followed up, verified my details, and received the same promise. Repeating this at 1pm, I was told the doctor was too busy to call but advised to stay near my phone. Another number check confirmed my contact information. By 4pm, I was informed they had the wrong number and had no remaining appointments for the day, despite having emergency weekend slots now fully booked. I will definitely be changing healthcare providers, as it's clear mental health is not a priority for this practice.
