Missed Appointments and Terrible Staff Support

The medical center has been a complete disaster from start to finish. Their referral process is non-existent, with lost specimens and missed appointments being the norm. Sophie from the mental health team consistently failed to show up, and the staff's communication is patronizing and dismissive. Practice manager Aimee Wiseman demonstrates zero accountability for the systematic failures that have severely impacted patient care. When I attempted to discuss the poor service at Aimee's own suggestion, she refused to meet, despite my clear need for reasonable adjustments - which strongly appears to constitute disability discrimination. My recommendation is to bypass their internal complaint process entirely and seek legal representation immediately. I've been systematically failed, disregarded, and humiliated by the Grove Medical Centre's staff repeatedly. The only reason I haven't transferred elsewhere sooner is due to previous advice about pending treatments and diagnoses - many of which were unnecessarily prolonged because of the staff's persistent incompetence.

I sought medical assistance for my 8-year-old, who had been running a fever for a week and hadn't responded to prescribed antibiotics. A phone consultation with a physician followed, but the process of even reaching them was frustratingly time-consuming. To make matters worse, I'm still waiting on a urine test that was supposedly urgent three months ago. The test was meant to be done immediately, yet here we are, months later. It feels like my child's health is being treated as an afterthought. Don't the well-being of children matter anymore? 🤦🏻

Rude Receptionist Upset My Grandad

My grandfather is a patient at this medical practice and has consistently praised their team, but a recent interaction with a receptionist deeply distressed him. According to his account, the staff member was incredibly discourteous, dismissive, lacking compassion, and consistently interrupted him while he was speaking. Moreover, she interrogated him about his physical capabilities in a condescending way, questioning whether he was confined to his home. I am thoroughly disappointed by how my senior grandfather was treated during this telephone conversation. The front desk personnel absolutely must improve their approach to customer service.

Foot Pain Turned Serious at Last Minute

DISMISSED!! Spouse experiencing foot issues, so called and consulted with Nurse practitioner, who recommended seeing physio (who provided incorrect assessment). No progress, so made second call. Again spoke to nurse practitioner who suggested contacting Riverside Clinic. That seemed more promising! Third call and FINALLY met with doctor. Instantly referred to HOSPITAL with a completely different and accurate diagnosis!! Now undergoing surgical procedure!!
