Friendly receptionists saved my day
I'm truly impressed by the exceptional receptionists at this healthcare facility. Coming from London, where the staff at my previous medical practice were unbearably condescending and hypocritical, with a patronizing sign warning patients about rudeness while they themselves displayed the worst attitude, these receptionists are a breath of fresh air. They perfectly embody the stereotypical jokes about medical receptionists - but in the most positive way possible. Considering the immense strain currently facing the entire NHS, I am completely amazed by their professionalism and kindness. If I could rate them higher than 10 out of 10, I absolutely would. Booking nightmare with endless waiting
The scheduling mechanism is completely dysfunctional. When you attempt to call, the system abruptly terminates the call immediately after connecting, which is incredibly exasperating after spending nearly three-quarters of an hour waiting. Similarly, their digital reservation platform is unresponsive, with submissions frequently left without acknowledgment for extended periods, and in some instances, no response materializes until the next day.

I was a patient of this practise for three years. For the whole time I have had pain in the knees and lower legs so severe that I could not walk more than a hundred years without a stick. I was sent for X Rays which showed no knee joint injury (I told them as much) and was told to visit the physiotherapist. No amount of stretching and exercise helped. I lost 12 kg, which didn't help. The problem has only got worse. Their attitude was "We've done all we can. Suck it up." Once, before losing weight, I expressed concern that I might be type 2 diabetic. They sent me for a blood test. Before the appointment I asked if I should fast and was told no. They didn't test for diabetes! Getting an appointment is almost impossible. In theory you need to log in to their website between 8:00 and 8:01 AM. I tried several times and no appointments were available. I witnessed the reception staff being very dismissive and condescending to other patients. I have now moved away from the area so I will watch out when selecting another GP.
