Dr Mendoza shines in a broken system

Since their merger with another practice, the service has become utterly abysmal. Getting an appointment is a nightmare, assuming you can even reach someone on the phone. The patient care is nonexistent, and the staff seem completely clueless. Dr. Mendoza is the sole bright spot, but is sadly squandered in this dysfunctional environment.

I submitted an online appointment request at 8:00 AM, and by 10:36 AM, my booking was confirmed for the same day. At 2:55 PM, I met with Chris Rigby, who demonstrated exceptional kindness, respect, and empathy. The treatment plan put me at ease, and I departed feeling completely reassured. Kudos to the entire team. It would be wonderful if more satisfied patients would share their experiences, as this could help the staff feel truly appreciated and recognized for their outstanding work.

Urgent help failed my sick kid

What was promised as an 'urgent consultation' turned out to be a phone call scheduled a month away! Consequently, my child's condition deteriorated so severely that we ended up in the Emergency Department and he was hospitalized. The practice's phone lines are completely unresponsive - even when you manage to connect, there are no available appointments. My advice: skip their frustrating reception entirely and dial 111 instead, who can not only provide guidance but also directly arrange medical appointments with your GP.

Worst date night ever at grove

My time at Grove has been nothing short of a nightmare for both myself and my spouse. The experience was so horrendous that "terrible" doesn't even begin to capture how awful it was. I would absolutely never suggest this place to another soul, and if the rating system allowed, I'd gladly assign it a negative five-star rating.

Unhelpful staff made our wait miserable

The personnel here lack basic courtesy. My father was left ignored for a full five minutes before the receptionist even recognized his presence. After initially checking in, we were left waiting for 20 minutes before being informed we needed to go upstairs. When we inquired about the specific room, being unfamiliar with the facility, another staff member rudely shouted that there was only one waiting area. Given my dad's spinal injury, which severely limits his mobility, this treatment was particularly insensitive. Despite all this, we ended up waiting over an hour and still saw no doctor.

Surgery staff crushed my daughter's hopes

I cannot bring myself to evaluate the medical practice due to the appalling reception staff. Their demeanor is consistently discourteous and obstructive. My daughter was reduced to tears after being abruptly informed that telephone consultations are unavailable after 6 pm. When I called to advocate for her, I was dismissively questioned about why I was speaking on her behalf, despite her being an adult. I firmly believe a parent's concern for their child doesn't diminish with age! What may seem trivial to some is actually a serious matter: my daughter has recently commenced a new medication and has experienced two episodes of fainting, which understandably terrified her. She was simply seeking medical guidance and support. It appears the review platform mandates a numerical rating as a prerequisite for posting feedback, which seems unnecessarily restrictive.

Frustrating appointment system hurts patients

Utterly absurd!!!! Dealing with a long-standing medical problem (5 years) that's progressively worsening with emerging symptoms, my previous physician has retired and I desperately need a consultation to discuss my situation and gain guidance for a condition that's significantly impacting my overall well-being, psychological state, and financial circumstances. I've been consistently instructed to book an appointment online, but the system is completely dysfunctional, and their only advice for serious health concerns is to go to the emergency room!! It's completely pointless to even have a general practitioner when they simply redirect you elsewhere, which explains why patients are being neglected, experiencing severe health decline, and suffering mental health consequences.

Absolutely zero empathy or concern here. Attempting to communicate with a physician is utterly ridiculous. Requesting a doctor to examine a cancer patient is completely absurd and demonstrates a total disregard for patient care.

Endless wait for a simple signature

I attempted to schedule an appointment but found myself 78th in line, so I asked for a callback that never materialized... I submitted a crucial document for signing on March 31st and endured a two-month wait before receiving it back! This excessive delay led to additional complications. I made three in-person visits and made three phone calls, each time being informed the document was still with the same physician. The entire experience was utterly inefficient and frustrating. The sole reason I'm giving a single star is that the Reception staff remain the only bright spot in this otherwise subpar medical practice, especially Sandra and Paula.
